I've been having this debate with myself for years now. Is romantic love a crutch? A distraction? ...Or is it the answer?

There are so many factors that go into who the person is and why we choose them. It is inevitable to lose track of the how and why and get lost in the web. In doing so, are we not losing ourselves? Giving in? It seems to me that the more logical the relationship, the less "love" is involved. Logic and Love seem to butt heads. When someone acts "out of love", it is rarely the result of some sort of logical contemplation. If this is accepted, does it not invalidate the importance of logic all together?
