Looks like the real washup is Julia admitting defeat in that the govt should be formed by the party with the biggest 2PP vote

The time of the Labor orks is nearly over and the Libs will just walk into Mordor in victorious glory and rescue the Australian people from the tyranny perpetuated by evil

I wonder how the ALP would have gone in the election if their union masters hadn`t decided to shaft Krudd?

It appears that twitter is a tardy thing. They got the "twit" part right.

If you leftards are so intent on quoting Fraser and giving him credibility maybe we should quote Latham!

Go right ahead then we can claim as you do for Fraser that Latham is irrelevant and around we go.
Fraser was spot on with his assessment of the Liberal Party & Malchom Turnbull whether you like it or not, & frankly I pretty sure the man has a better knowledge of the party & better sources within said party than ANY of us here.

Libs are better at not quoting disaffected former leaders than Labor are. We know that latham is a toad. We also know that Fraser is  hypocrite by being a latter-day convert to a philosphy he didnt have or implement while in office. Fraser is stil upset that Howard was so monumentally successful and passes that bile on to each succeeding liberal leader who wil be probably more successful than he was.

Quote Fraser all you like, but we dont care. He has moved into irrelvance which is why you rarely see his opinions reported any more. Just like Latham.

Fraser showed that apart from being out of touch, he is completely senile.
His old man rants were rather sad in their lack of substance

It wont be long until he is wheelchair bound with a crocheted rug over his lap and continuing to mumble incoherently

It is a common problem with ex-PMs and other such people once their time in the limelight is past. Some get over it better than others. Fraser and Keating are probably the worst although Latham is a classic. Not that Hewson is anyone to be thrilled about either.

It is funy that Hawke and Howard are the quietest of them all. Perhaps a period of long acheivement as PM and the knowledge that the electorate valued you in 4 elections helps?
