Labor-Liberal Coalition

Similar policies and spin ... Surely a lib lab coalition government is the likely outcome so they can control both houses.

Since Kevin Rudd is a liberal implant in the labor wing of the party ... Make him prime minister.

Labor was attempting a scare campaign in the electorate of Melbourne ... A vote for the Greens is a vote for Abbott. So Adam Bandt put a squash on that saying he would support Labor in a hung parliament.

Meanwhile Greens senators are allied with only the Australian Greens.

The only way the liberal labor party can starve off their death is to end their secret coalition and announce it publicaly.

I can't see why not either, but can we have Turnbull or Brendon Nelson for PM?

No Pansi, i disagree.  Abbott bought the Libs back from certain death so deserves his moment in the chair.    This of course allows him to put forward all those promisese he has made.  Remember?  Stop the boats, axe the NBN, axe the superclinics.

I can hardly wait.  let him have a try......

Perhaps, not now?

But one to remember, as things start to tighten up.

After all, the Israeli's have had governments of National Unity before, when times have got tough and trust me (I'm not a Politician), times will soon get tough!

That's the thing about 'coalitions'. They cant be secret. If labor and liberal have a secret coalition they why do they fight each other and try to defeat each other all the time? I know it is a waste of time explaining this to you drug-addled mind but perhaps you can just employ one brain cell an ask yourself how such a thing can exist. you might as well claim that hitler and Churchill were 'secret allies'.

I can see that this thread is much needed therapy for the lefty losers.  Seek solace in delusion and denial.

not at all Aussie.  australia has spoken and moved the Labs back into a potentially losing position.  Even as a labor voter i accept that.

I am now ready to accept that Tony should take the cahir and govern.   I await with baited breath his implementation of all his promises to the australian public.

I mean it would be an absolute disgrace if, for instance, he had to continue with the NBN to win and independant wouldn;t it"   I look forward to him in office and seeing no more boats enter our EEZ.

I look forward to the axing of the super clinics and their replacement with solid health policies that will see my family secure in their health needs.

Noting the Coalition have done the books , i look forward to a huge surplus in 2013.

I presume he is joking.
Please tell me he is joking.

Sorry I have to go ring Alex Jones, to see if I left my tinfoil hat at his place.

The link is for those unaware of this maverick radio broadcaster alerting the world to the perils that devious governments are perpetrating upon us.

Hmmnnn...if the LibLabs formally entered into some form of agreement to jointly govern, so as to temporarily keep the Greens and Independents at bay, then: what would happen when the next election rolls around in 3 years!?

How could the LibLabs go to the next election as separate parties - and each campaign on their record for a mandate to govern in their own right!?

I, for one, would love to see this!!!

Liberals are closer to Labor than they are to the Nationals.

guess the lib nat coalition will end when the lab lib coalition begins.

In an ideal world that might be possible,  but unfortunately we don't live in an ideal world, and I think there just might be some insurmountable differences in ideolgies for that to ever come about (in the near future anyway).
