It would finally and emphatically put the "Better economic mangers" to bed.

Well we've certainly seen what an unmitigated disaster Labor are economically when challenges arise eh?

How much is that debt again?

$100m of interest every day?

Stimulus package. WTF do you think that money came from? The reason for our debt is the same reason we are not in a recession.

Trust the dumb retarded Libs not to get that though!

Sorry Vanessa - the people have spoken and removed the majority enjoyed by the Labor after ONE TERM.

You know why?

Because we are in debt, because we have waves of shyte people coming over on boats, because a lot of us are paying more in tax and have had our benefits cut, because Labor have made a right old mess of things.

Don't just ask me - have a look at the election result. A wipe out of the Labor vote.

In just one term too......

Well done Tony Abbott.

Then if Abbott buggers things up and you start complaining - which the Libs will do - then tough luck. You pay peanuts you get monkeys. You deserve everything you get.

And what a pair of monkeys we got in Rudd and Swan!!

Then in came the Kath & Kim bogan and her Orstraaaaaaya policies.

She then bolloxed all that up.

Pay back the debt, stop the shyte people coming in, stop the boats, and stop this carbon tax.

Beautiful!!!

Natural order is looking like being restored after just one term!   Grin

just as well Labor will still be the govt, anyone seriously want the endorphin addict Abbott and the buffoon Hockey controlling the economy when the Long Depression clamps down worldwide? Seriously?

Indeed, giving the Lib attack-dogs enough rope, in the short term, might be the best way to go for the longer term...

Which raises the point that the Liberals are only as good as they have to be, to counter the "quality" of the left.

Oh dear Deborah - someone seems like they are grasping for some straws.
Would you like to borrow one?

What if we just tax the most important industry in the country more and just hand out free money so you can pay it back that way?

That seems to be an 'economically sensible' way to do things if you ask some....

The "natural order," eh? You seem to think debt is something outside of nature, but Australia has nearly always had a deficit, as have most countries - and now more than ever.

Just as most families have debts called mortgages.

And as for stopping "shyte" people coming in - how do you do that? People's shytness is not on the immigration criteria, and Abbott's not planning on stopping immigration to Australia - or, for that matter, stopping "shyte" people from having babies.

You're right though: Abbott has done an amazing job of getting the Libs up to forming a government after one term. But it's built on a mirage. The issues the Libs championed have nothing to do with anything. This election has, essentially, been about nothing.

We might as well have just focused on Brad and Ange's latest spat, or LiLo's stint in rehab.

Meanwhile, the world grows and the temperature rises. And we sit in Australia, fiddling over a few thousand "shyte" people.

It's not Labor that needs to go, it's the fantasies of the Australian electorate. If Abbott gets in, I guess, we've earned him.
