I didn't vote liberal and dont generally have such a big problem with the liberal party. So why do the masses who support liberal and vocalise it, tend to be so aggressive and hateful about it? Liberal MP's dont act the way you do.

I'm a lib supporter, and am genuinely doing my best to not be a smug farter out of respect for those who did not vote for the coalition...

Look, i'm quite sure Abbotts a clear winner, and i'll sleep well tonight knowing he's in.

Smiley..Look, it was a vice-gripping election ...so, lets just say all partys did well.

I've noticed that. I've worked for a couple of Liberal front benchers and neither of them were as hardcore as most internet Liberal supporters.

Hmmnnn....Abbott has just made it clear that he expects to remain at the helm indefinitely - telling the audience that the election was partly a referendum on backstabbing a party leader...

How are the Libs ever gonna get rid of this monster they created by default because Joe Jockstrap wasn't ready to lead!?

What will be really interesting is what the GALP do with the useless puff of air called Julia Gillard.

She crept up on Kev then buggered the entire election.

The Greens will see their swing to them evaporate in the first by-election and their seats in the senate slowly vanish as the Democrats before them.

I am also keen to see the wrangling within the Greens as they wrench themselves apart.

The first thing you will see is the bitter justification that they should have got more seats.  They know they failed to capitalise as the swing in the Hor was to the Lib/Nats, not them in any significant way.

For goodness sake pass the joint to someone else, you have obviously had more than enough Deepy.

Anyone who does not recognise the achievement of the Greens is suffering from either temporary, or permanent cognitive impairment, hopefully you will be able to make sense at a later date.

if the libs get a minority government, they are going to have their nuts in a vice. Excellent. That should keep the arrogance levels in check.
Behave yourself you dickheads or you'll get booted out next time as well. Remember it, and remember that real Australians rule our country, not you egotistical idiots. Do what you're told, or get your arse kicked next time.

Ugh??!!?? Shocked  Whaaaaat?

You ok?

Judging by the behaviour at Abbott's speech tonight, they are a somewhat nasty and negative mob...

Allow them to kick your arse as you deserve. Enjoy your kicking  Grin

Hmmnnn....I want the Lib pollies to do their kicking with gusto - revealing true colours 'n' all...

What is going to be interesting is the postal vote, many voters overseas have not been subjected to the Australian Media and are able to be more objective. How many of you have taken note of the nasty personal attacks, the visual subliminal programming inherent in the pictures selected of both Julia and Tony, some of the photos of Julia have been disgusting, that one that had her looking like a blow up sex doll, the ones catching her mid gesture looking like a crazy person. Many of the postal voters were not influenced by that, and experienced first hand what is happening elsewhere

As I do not drink, nor use drugs your bitter rejoinder is entertaining.

I'm afraid your party lost.

You will have to accept that without attempting to patronise or demean others.

this result is admirable. It is like tearing that stupid foreign union jack off our flag and letting the true Australia stand up there by itself - the white stars and the blue flag. That's our flag and that's who saved Australia today
Viva Australia!
Piss off the commie lefties and the capitalist right.
Both of you got your arsed kicked by the real Australians, and now you're both stuffed and haven't got a chance to attack the people for quite a while.
And if you pull another stunt like an early election, you will get exactly the same result.
God Save Australia.

So you have joined the prescient club too Deepy?
Putting your personal opinion of what you hope the result may be as having already occurred, when it hasn't is usually called wishful thinking, but you can call it positive visualisation if it makes you feel better.

Meanwhile, the rest of us who have to make do with reality will anxiously wait to find out from the AEC who won how many seats, and after that is known, we may then have to wait even longer to see who is prepared to work with who, and whom the GG will give the nod to form a government.

Merely bothersome details for we real worlders, I guess it is much simpler for you clairvoyants.

Nah, not bitter per se - more numb and pensive than anything else (and no, I haven't been drinking at all)...

Not gonna pretend that I like nor trust Abbott - and I still think he's a dangerous narcissist - but there are still very mixed messages coming out of the commetariat so there is no victory and no defeat...yet...

Oh, and I'm encouraged by the state of the Senate - which should moderate the antics of whichever of the LibLabs governs...
