Labor have blood on their hands from having knifed PM Rudd just short of him completing his term.
In other words, they decide who may be our PM, not us, irrespective of whether we voted for him or not.
I can tell you now, had Gillard ran for PM in 2007, I would have taken my chances with the Liberal party even though I had become rather disenchanted with their war-effort towards the end, and wanted Costello to run in Howards place.
I think Rudd was Labors conservative clatance a "Howard" prop, the Howard you vote for when you are tired of the old one.
Labor tricked us into thinking that finally, they had evolved and become a more conservative, capable of being responsible with our economy, when in fact, they were Left-wing communists in Liberal clothing all along, had no intentions of being conservative or delivering any of their pre-electoral pie-crust promises.
...easily made, easily broken.
. ... Hindsights a wonderful thing, never again will I even consider voting Labor , not after the mess they have made of our country.
Had Costello been leading the Libs party in 2007, I would have without a doubt, voted for him...(and not Rudd)...but given a choice between Howard or Gillard, I would have stuck with Libs.
They cheated us out of the PM we voted for, not that he was anything to write home about...but he like all their PM's are transient and the party itself rather dysfunctional.
Labor don't deserve a second term, given they failed to deliver across a number if not all key-policy areas last election.
Or had we forgotten?
How can we trust a party who steals others partys policies?
Obama called, apparently he wants his back!
