Class shines through.

Although not a fan of Tony Abbott, I must admit that in recent months he has displayed a measure of class that I hadn`t seen in him previously.  He really has grown into the leadership position, and matured, much more impressively than expected.

Although Abbott will always be to a certain extent, the clumsy academic, I believe him to be a highly moral, trustworthy, and honest person.  Abbott has risen above no end of low tactic and attempted deformation, slander and libel.  He has shrugged off sexism, dishonesty, distortion, and prejudice.

Well done Tony Abbott!

Credit where it's due

Liberals have been on par with Labor this election.

Abbott has been on par with Gillard

This is where you are badly mistaken.  Abbott has been a thorough gentleman, Gillard belongs in a distinctly lower category.  Abbott has overcome, and risen above, a higher quantity, and a lower quality of slander and libel in the past few months than most people encounter in a lifetime, he has even been abused for contributing to the surf life saving movement.

Gillard on the other hand has back stabbed Kevin Rudd, who she vowed time and again to support. She has sleazed her way through interviews without even attempting to answer questions honestly, she has lied about corruption and incompetence.

There is no comparison between the two.

I think they are much the same, neither of them are fit to run the country, and to make matters worse, neither of them have any substantial back up. It is a case of the patients running the psyche ward.

Pansi, I have to agree, until we iron out some major kinks in our system, we will be plagued by inefficient Government.  Firstly, the pay structure is wrong, we are paying peanuts to sitting members, while retirement packages are far too generous.  This isn`t the way to attract quality people, although I believe there are those who do it out of the best of intentions.

Our beaurocracy, also is a basket case, we`d be better server by paying 75% of the bureaucrats to stay home & keep out of the way.

Nevertheless, of the present crop of lizards, the Greens couldn`t run a two seated toilet, the ALP are nothing more than a bumbling, backstabbing shower of spit, so the Coalition under Tony Abbott are the only viable option with even a modicum of decency and competence.

Of the political leaders, Bob Brown is living in fairyland and burdened by zero responsibility, with no capacity to perform other than a nagging role.  Julia Gillard is too sly and shifty to even talk straight, while Tony Abbott has conducted himself with dignity and honor.

To those who have the country`s best intrests at heart, here is no genuie alternative to Abbott.

even given my rightwing biased, you guys can read the truth in aussies words.

Tony has amswered every question honestly
gillard has amswered few directly.
abbott is a hard working surf life saving considerate man.

gillard stabbed rudd after pledging her undying layality and has presided over a multibillion $ wated scheme.
She has been an adulteress and broken up a family.

The decisions clearcut

Abbott actually has an economics degree, which is more than the massive majority of his detractors. The "clumsy academic" comment was referring to his apparently absent minded slips.  These although mildly inconvenient, do indicate a lack of deception, which is highly preferable to the dodgy spin of his opponents.
