It is true. You should be able to search out academic papers he wrote or collaborated on.

But MBA he has.

Wayne Swan BA (Hons) - University of Queensland.

Strange because I work in Finance and I have a BSc Finance & Accounting.
In fact I don't know anywhere which do Bachelor of Arts in Finance....

What else is wrong?
Obama?
Care to tell me if he spent the most in his first 12 months than any other President in history? Cos that's true as well sadly.....

GMC received US$6bn PER QUARTER in his first six months.

The Candy man.

Sadly Labor in Australia followed suit - Surplus to debt in less than 18 months.
Good going guys....

An MBA an "emphasis on economics" is like saying he's a dentist with an "emphasis on brain surgery"

I did 15 credits of Italian in my first year to cover a gap.
Shall I call myself an 'Italian expert liguist' too?

Incidentally my recollection of that course is piazza is square and calcio is football.
Which is probably on a par with Swan's finance competency despite his 'specialising' in this area.

yes we can .........

disembowel and behead our own party if we win.

Quote:
A senior union leader has predicted a post-election wave of Labor "bloodletting" in a furious backlash over the issue that has overshadowed its campaign: the dumping of Kevin Rudd.

Electrical Trades Union Victorian state secretary, Dean Mighell, said those involved in the axing of the former prime minister would be "targeted" after Saturday's vote.

Mr Mighell, a regular critic of the Labor government, said the ''brutal'' and ''ugly'' disposal of Mr Rudd had turned off some voters.

Much of the retribution would focus on the right-wing of the NSW Labor movement, Mr Mighell said.

The faction's leaders - including Mark Arbib - were widely credited for plotting to oust Mr Rudd in June.

But Mr Mighell also foreshadowed retaliation against figures in the Australian Workers Union, whose former leader, Bill Shorten, was closely linked to getting the numbers to install Julia Gillard as leader.

"I think they've handled it badly, and the truth will come out, and you'll see a lot of bloodletting after the election within the ranks of Labor for people taking responsibility for the way Kevin Rudd was savaged," said Mr Mighell, who was expelled from the ALP before the 2007 election by Mr Rudd.

"I think the NSW Right will be targeted," he told Radio 3AW host Neil Mitchell.......

A Bachelor of Arts degree gives you a better understanding of how human beings make, recognise, and argue about life's meaning and the values that support civilisation. A BA graduate is someone who has gained skills and knowledge, not just in a subject area but also in written communication, critical thinking, and problem solving and can apply these skills in many different jobs, careers and life situations.

The program provides graduates with highly developed skills in written communication, problem-solving, critical thinking and interpersonal understanding. The program offers courses in the core disciplines of humanities and social sciences. Students can choose from a wide range of majors, tailoring the degree to suit their own particular career aspirations.

Employment after university -

The Science graduate asks "Can it be made?"

The Engineering graduate asks "How do we make it?"

The Arts graudate asks "Do you want fries with that?"

BA certificates - not worth a bucket of p*ss.

Any CV's with a BA on them are filed on my desk immediately in the same pile as people with pigeon English, CPA's and backpackers.

Bachelor of Arts. LOL.

Subjects such as Ancient History, Language 'studies' and poetry and whatever else they do over in that building.

Really useful in life.....

YES WE CAN - watch Gillard and her motley crew, ably assisted by the Greens who will give them a leg up into power,  totally wreck Australia's economy and our standard of living.  Anarchy will rule as discipline and decency disappear from our laws -  God help us.
