Not to mention workchoices, more jobs for less conditions/ pay, thats the Liberal way.
I'll take the 5% with fair pay and conditions thanks very much. Cool

You'd haev a good point if it were accurate - but it isnt. at the time, wages were at record REAL highs and unemployment at record lows!

and btw - you'vew obviously never been long-term unemployed. if you think the 1% extra unemplyed are getting any joy out of your ridiciulous comment then you are wrong.

Alone, by Abbott stopping the BER ( so we will  have what un finished school buildings, now , and  Abbott with a plagua say I stoppped this on the school hall.ha)

Abbott's hit list will  also see him scrap the national broadband network, cut migration numbers by at least 100,000, cancel the further roll-out of Gillard's trades training centres and stop her computers-in-schools program..

All of these and more create employment. Yes Abbott will send these people now of to the Green training  camps..

Add these people to that growing Abbott's Unemployed Green Training , quarantine payment ,group.

'Abbott also would scrap Rudd's Community Cabinet meetings, axe the global carbon capture and storage institute, abolish the petrol commissioner, cancel the bid for the United Nations Security Council and not replace public servants with desk jobs who retire or quit.'

'Abbott's pledge on WorkChoices ("it's dead, buried, cremated") is a copy of John Howard's promise in 1996 to not touch Medicare after he had said in the 1980s he would "stab it in the stomach".'

Maybe the 1% more unemployed are not joyfull about not having a job, but they along with the people who are working are very joyfull that workchoices was abolished by Labor and that they now earn a fair days pay for a fair days work.
Just seeing you salivate at the word"workchoices" shows why the likes of you and the party you support are so out of touch.

That was only half of my comment .

I am dealing with some glitches I have noticed. Not sure why-  some of my posts &  comments are not coming through correctly.

Just a personal observation... as a public servant I enjoyed higher wage rises under Liberal than I have under Labor. As to work choices vs fairwork... Under liberals  there was no arbitrary productivity scheme which sees favoured workers with more and those who work harder and evidence that hard work across all levels, but who are not favoured, not receive their due productivity rise.

No... I'm not voting Liberal by the way... but then I'm not voting Labor either.

Youth unemployment is worse now than it's been in decades under a Labor government.

With youth unemployment comes increased crime stats.

Labor cant tuck away to bed  this 'growing' concern forever now can they?

Our statistics are somewhat scant, due to Labor having withdrawn much of their ABS funding.
