what did the letter from the AEC say?

Have you received the voting papers from the Australian Electoral Commission in the post? IF you have, does it say Voting IS Compulsory? If it does, does it also say YOU will be fined if you Don'T vote? If it does, DOES the letter say the COST of the Fine and what is it?

Also, if anyone could scan and upload what the AEC posted to you that would be great, because I just want to see if the AEC is trying to make money by Purposely NOT saying in the letter that you will be fined for not voting.

The fine is implied when they say it is compulsory. It wouldn't actually be compulsory if they could take no action against you.

People who can't distinguish between etymology and entomology bug me in ways I cannot put into words.
