Jesus The Politician

Hypothetical Question

Bible Jesus has come into Australia via a boat refugee ... has worked his way to becoming an Australian Citizen

And now has decided to run for politics ... so obviously Jesus would be an Australian Greens candidate

Correct?

Someone on yahoo answered this some time back.

Forget exactly how it went, but was something like this.

Jesus would have to have been a Labor man.

His dad was a tradesman. Carpenter.
He was a tradesman. Carpenter.
He was a Union organizer.
He formed the first organized Union.
The Sea of Galilee Fisherman's Union.

Something like that, anyway.

When you consider that Jesus was an Arab born in Palestine and apparently the son of God..making God a Palestinian Arab as well...it is highly likely that today both God and Jesus would be refugees and could be on a boat to Australia Smiley

Well NO Jesus was NOT an 'Arab born in Palestine'....there were almost no Arabs in Palestine at that time...

The majority of the Arab population didn't migrate to Palestine until about 600 years AFTER Jesus died....

Thats right kiddies, even Jesus and his dad..God wouldn't be welcome in this country under a Coalition govt    Smiley

Actually they would be ok if they flew in with Emirates carrying false passports and visas..then the Coalition would ignore them  Smiley

Ok..I will rephrase it..Jesus was born in the middle east and considered a terrorist by the ruling power of the time...

The Coalition would have turned him away if he came here by boat today under those same criteria   Smiley
