Moving on/moving forward

Sound familiar?

Julia Gillard: struggling to put into words her feelings about Mark's diaries....

Quote:
G'day. This morning Julia Gillard gave this speech to the GOING PUBLIC Conference sponsored by the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Agency, after which she coped as best she could with media questions on Mark Latham's diaries. Thanks to Julia for her permission to publish the speech on on Webdiary.   .....

Read Julia Gillards Labor damage control speech on Latham here, it sounds familiar doesn't it.

Lets see who picks up on what I'm referring to...

One of the most important character traits I believe any one can have is a capacity for loyalty.

I am a loyal person. I suspect in respect of Mark Latham, after this speech, some will say too loyal.

But I have always believed you give loyalty to the Labor Party and to those who lead it.

I was loyal to John Brumby when I served as his Chief of Staff.

I was loyal to Kim Beazley as Labor Leader when I was elected in 1998.

I was loyal to Simon Crean and then Mark Latham.

From the moment Kim Beazley resumed the leadership in January this year, he has had my 100% loyalty and that has not and will not change.

The next few days will be difficult for Federal Labor.

But as always, we will endure.

By Julia Gillard.

So she never said she was loyal to Kevin?  Maybe Kevy should have seen it coming then?

I bet he rues the day he ever made her his right hand man.

It's definitely an interesting read, and I quite agree with you, though be aware, when referring to those she remained loyal to, she was referring to those subjects (her superiors) in the past tense at the time she wrote the above speech. Rudd is still very much part of a current Labor, so we might have to wait until her gastric juices have dissolved his entire skeleton (starting with his gallbladder and Lathams pancreas) before she sheds her snake-skin.

Though, I doubt she ever will, not in the way Latham did, because she's an ice-queen...wont flinch. ..not publicly anyway, but don't rule out pre-electoral waterworks, tears...(fake)...just to get the men hard, blokes don't like watching woman cry, I reckon this one will stoop to any means necessary to get exactly what she wants.

Someone should send Tim Mathieson an icepick for her hymen as a wedding gift.

He's gonna need it.

Cool

Hell hath no fury like a prime minister scorned,  and she's up against the big three she toppled to get to where she is today.
Not all 3 got to be PM's though.
Cool...  I think I know who the third leaker is.
