Any party would be better than this incompetent ALP, which will surely go down in history as the worst govt (and PM) that Australia has ever had.

Yes in the eyes of retards it will.
In the eyes of most people it will go down as a party who managed Australia's economy SO smacking well it was one of only two oecd economies to avoid recession.
It will also go down as having lower interest rates than the Libs had, a strong economy, low unemployment and a compasion for the original inhabitants of this nation by saying sorry for the treatment they recieved under former, mostly Liberal governments.
This government will also go down as one who knew how to make the tuff choices when it came to dudd leadership, unlike the Libs who never had the balls to roll the lying little rodent.
But I think its a little early to be reading it the last rights, no self respecting Australian would vote for this fvckwit Abbott to lead our nation, but then looking at this board there seems to be a few who have no respect for themselves or their country, they vote Liberal or National.

That took Australia (the envy of the western world) to a country in economic turmoil!

A party that has had six consecutive interest rate rises in 9 months .

A party that allowed banks to raise rates even when the RBA didnt - a record!

Yeah best you do some research there buddy!

Yeah great party there skip!

Just think (please try) all these daily $100 millions of debt could have been used to pay for a lot of other issues (eg hospitals & education infrastructure, social reform)
Oh wait Jollya is allowing alreay the rorts in education, oops my mistake.

What will Abbott do to make it better? not your usual bullsh1t, what will  he do to change things for the better?

BTW girls, the Libs intended to borrow only 20 billion less than Labor and pay it back by the same time frame, but the Libs have no way of doing that as they oppose the mine tax, the Libs do intend to lift company tax but that wont bring in enough moola either, how can Abbott make things better?
Try to post facts and not fiction, especially you mel, I'm yet to see you post anything that did not contain untruths( not allowed to say lies, but I notice mozz says  untruths so that must be ok, even though lies fit the bill for you much better).

By the time the election is held Australia will be in a further $2,000 million of debt - thanks to the interest charges.

And to assist the Laborites as we all know how they like to fudge figures and distort the facts eg they are trying to deny the $100 million incurred in interest each day, so to assist these Laborites there's 19 days to go.
Let's see...20 less 1  = 19

Yep 19 days to go Grin Grin Grin

HAHAHAHA. Your comments are hilarious!!! The measures the government took to get us in debt was essential to avoiding recession. This government will go down as one of the best governments Australia has ever had.

EDIT: Please refrain from telling untruths about a true figure. You have absolutely no way of possibly knowing what the daily debt is and by saying that you are almost as childish as your god Phoney Tony.

Well ...now only 18 days to go until the election to get rid of the incompetent and inefficient rudd/gilliard govt. And as we all know the rudd/gilliard government will go down as the worst government in Australia's history!

That's the good news, the bad news is that Australia has accrued ANOTHER $100 million dollars package of interest on it's debts that the ALP incurred!

Don't you find this excrutiatingly  delicious ?

From the Sydney Morning Herald Today.

"Oooh Kevvie,  you are awful"  Ha ha

"Reality writes
Fresh anger in Labor yesterday over Kevin Rudd after it emerged the launch of a book by the former prime minister's daughter, Jessica, had been brought forward by two weeks to coincide with Labor's official campaign launch on August 16. The book, Campaign Ruby, is spruiked as ''Bridget Jones on the campaign trail'' and is about a prime minister who, can you believe it, is rolled by his female deputy to become the nation's first woman prime minister. Both launches are in Brisbane."

Well done Skippy, you are spot on, it just "sounds" better.
You could also say that certain people are so unfamiliar with Truth, that they would not recognise it if it came up behind them and gave them a good rogering, but that may be taking it a bit far. Grin Grin Grin

Perhaps the mood in other parts of Australia is different to here, but I trust that Aussies would be unlikely to put Abbott into the top job, once those who have not followed politics much get to realise what a weird individual he actually is.

The posters here are besides themselves with excitement at the prospect of a Liberal win, but methinks they are suffering from premature congratulation, for which I think they now have a nasal spray.
That may be relevant because everyone with working noses can tell that Abbott is on the nose, not to mention Christopher Pyne.
I don't know what it is about that simpering little toady, but just seeing him reminds me of 19th century school bullies from privileged backgrounds abusing the junior boys.

Why aren't you wearing your nappies Brat? Your mummy must be getting sick of mopping up after you.

...............

Interesting comment from Paul Kelly in the Australian this morning..

"Abbott's policies demand more scrutiny. It is time for a leaders' debate on the economy. If Gillard is serious then Abbott cannot be allowed to say no. Indeed, he would invite ridicule. It would be a serious mistake for Abbott to succumb to the folly bred by so-called frontrunner status.

And that penetrates to another issue: will Abbott lose his nerve because he secretly shares the terror that he is unelectable
?
"
