I've never heard that one by Ian Astbury. I used to love listening to the "The Cult".

I always loved this song.
Later I discovered that it was about a fallen star named Edie Sedgwick.

Unfortunately I didn't find her (Edie) to be very attractive or sexy.

I don't doubt that many women would see Ian Astbury as sex on a stick, he's extremely soulful and a fantastic performer. He outweighs his subject here by a million miles in the talent stakes IMO.
