All were "hits" at one stage or another. The only music I don't have or care about is the WW2 stuff but even some of that Big Band stuff is OK. I guess. Music, as always, depends on your mood. Let me find something that dated back to the 40's or earlier.

I like those "Sonics" guys. They certainly were well ahead of their time. Give 'em a distortion pedal and who knows what they mighta come up with.

I'm a big fan of music that builds to a crescendo throughout the song (maybe that's why I like smacking Grin

).
The harder that it is to notice the build up, the better. I think that Radiohead are absolute masters at doing this.
