I respectfully decline to post
Jul 10th, 2010 at 4:04pm

On this forum, on account of this board being rather stagnant and bias like so many political forums are this close to a federal election.

So, I might catch up with you all after the election, as I will be spending my time posting where views are not censored in accordance with the forum owners own marred political, religious persuasions.

Thankyou.

When you begin deleting/moderating posters content in accordance with  your own views/ideals, then not only are you denying others the right to an opinion, "theirs" you are not upholding the values of Australians right to free speech.
You should alert posters to your agenda prior to inviting them here, this or using forums like Yahoos message boards to generate traffic to your site... not that it's served you well, given very few stay , as has been demonstrated.

Try Muslim Village, I'm sure you will reach a more desired audience.

Again, cheers.

I think you will find that myself and a couple of others from Yahoo suggested people come to this forum, and not the administrator of ozpolitic. I think perhaps freediver popped into yahoo once but that was well after many of the yahooligans had signed up on here.

Lol, love the attachment, and will give this a bit more thought until school goes back, as I'm a little snowed under until then.

Wink... Well, not technically, as I'm back from my almost snow trip..(well, It sleeted).

I thought my posts had been deleted on account of my coming here and seeing that they had all disappeared, (I thought I was not welcome to post here so stopped) I wasn't aware that this sites mods relocate them to other areas on ozpolitic.

Thank you, and I shall bare this in mind.

Have a lovely weekend all.

To what I remember, they posted saying they were doing so, and why. They also left the links in the original area for a wee while, and stated that the links would be deleted shortly.

I think the posts in question may have been the ones about Gillard, when half a dozen or so posts all popped up one after the other saying they did not like her, and as they were all basically saying the same thing, they were condensed into a single thread.
I think it was just about keeping the place "neat", I am sure that FD would never delete anyone's posts because he found their political view different to his own, he has a very, very high standard as far as "freedom of speech" goes.
If he disagrees with your views, he will post reasons why, not delete your posts.

I have had times when he has moved a post I started to a different thread, because he thought it belonged there, which can be annoying, but it isn't censorship, just "housekeeping".

That's fine, I went away for a few perhaps several days, and didn't see the links mentioned, so....

Smiley Thanx for letting me know, (re- where they went)..  I just assumed they were deemed offensive for some strange reason and had been removed altogether.

Admittedly, Gillard is far from the life of the party, thus can understand why some might tire of discussing more than one thread of her... Roll Eyes

I shall endeavour not to bore you all in future, for that's skippys job afterall.

Furthermore, I would rather you ignored me, I trust you wont be offended by this remark?

LOL you ran away and hid ,you mean? I put together a list for you on the thread that you asked for it.
because I'm such a nice bloke I'll copy it  here for you, it just gives others more opportunity to read your lies and make a better judgement on what you write.

------------------------------------------------------------
Details? of your lies? just1?
I can give you 5 off the top of my head-
1-This thread-INTEREST RATES UP UP UP -LIE, interest rates are still lower than when the opposition left office.
2-MENTAL HEALTH- you made up a story about Labor on mental health, you said your uncle told you Labor considered mental health akin to the stolen generation, the same story appears on the Liberal party web site but there are no facts to back it up, just Liberal and your lies.
3-UNEMPLOYMENT- you said under Rudd Australia had the highest unemployment figures since the sixties, LIES, then you realised how stupid your comment was and tried to back track, still a LIE.
4-YOUTH UNEMPLOYMENT- after backtracking you returned to say it was in fact youth unemployment that was the highest since the sixties, still a LIE, as Annie and I proved to you, youth unemployment was much higher in the 70s 80s and 90s.
5-IMMIGRATION- you said immigration/refugees was at an all time high under Rudd, another LIE, immigration/refugees was at its highest from 1995- 2001, another LIE.

1) Interest rates are up, and will sky-rocket after the election if Labor get in.  A matter of opinion, I guess.

2) A relative of mine advised my parents why his friend (A Labor member) believes his party are reluctant to fund ongoing support for care packages for autistic children,Fact!
Furthermore, autism has nothing to do with mental illness, it's like comparing schizophrenia with down-syndrome.

3) Unemployment has not been this high since the 1960's, irrespective of a Labor government trying to conceal the real figures/stats by means of artificially creating awkward and embarrassing employment opportunities ie (insulation and school buildings, and indigenous support workers etc)...jobs which were only ever meant to see them through the next election anyway.... yes?
Hence they have dramatically reduced their ABS (Australian Beuro of Statistics) funding, do you have any idea where the stats on unemployment are post 2008?

And as I corrected, these all time high unemployment figures apply to youth , under 25's, though I suspect the figures among other disadvantaged groups would be much higher than is being discussed, as they too are forced to compete with unskilled immigrants on visas entering our country willing to work cash in hand for a minimal rate of pay.

Face the facts....

Labors "BIG AUSTRALIA" concept has gone belly up, we dont have the infrastructure, the jobs, housing and or even desire to take on any more immigrants, refugees or otherwise.

In fact, it's this irresponsible immigration which sours opportunities for others who would otherwise immigrate to Australia to make a worthwhile contribution to our society.....this opposed to sapping our system like some ethnic minority groups do when they come here, live in housing commission houses with prestige cars parked in the driveway and illegally claim benefits for multiple wives.

Our welfare system was not set up to accommodate harems.
Sorry, was set up to cater for the traditional western nuclear family, single parented or otherwise.

Smiley  Not polygamous Muslims.

These are my views and opinions, they are not lies.
Just as your having called me a liar is your opinion, not fact.

Now, if you don't mind, I find your trolling rather monotonous and dull, so could you find a car to chase down the street, as I don't particularly enjoy interacting with you.

Reason, pointless.

Cool

Skippy, we have been through this before, you do not have the right to declare someone a liar, it is offensive behaviour, especially over things that are very often matters of perception.
The interest rates one is a good example, mellie was correct, they have risen, and so therefore you should admit that fact, and then highlight what you think is the relevance of them being lower than under various other governments at different times.

In future please try and say that you disagree, without using insulting language, it isn't necessary.

If flame wars start I will delete the lot of it, so try to keep it nice, pretty please. Grin

Ask yourselves, what did Australians get from the resource price surge in recent years?

-- higher house price?  Yes
-- higher rent?  Yes
-- higher food price? Yes
-- higher tax? Yes
-- higher debt? Yes
-- higher water and electricity price? Yes
-- mediocre infrastructure, transportation public health and education? Yes
-- Increasingly expensive medicare and education? Yes
-- More and more immigrants to accommodate? Yes
Have you ever heard of a self funded refugee?
I don't think so!
So, could anyone tell me, where has this money gone, and who are the biggest beneficiary's?

NO?

Wink I'll drop back in some time tomorrow, with an interesting article concerning a historical analysis re- causes pertinent to changes in interest rates.

Until then, lets see if you can guess...

Apparently, Mellie, there is at least one thing on which we can agree: there is no trickle-down effect - rather it is a tentacle-up effect!?

I, for one, do not believe the propaganda of the insatiable Growth Fairy - or his evil twin, the Good Greedy Witch of the West...

Polygamy can be eugenic or dysgenic depending upon the circumstances. Restricting poon to the finest male stock is good, but it leaves a lot of crummier men without a wife. This might be fine if the men would just die but they tend to seek partners from other gene-pools and that's a big gamble.

How would you know, given polygamy is illegal in this country, this and I doubt any of them are going to stand up and admit they form part of a neighbourhood harem, like the families I knew who lived in my suburb as a child (Guildford, Sydney, NSW).

Would you admit to breaking the law, this and decline parenting payments also?

Roll Eyes This is the problem, and because the practise is illegal,  many of them marry overseas this and retain their maiden name here in Australia where their marriage isn't recognised, this and continue claiming benefits/cheating our welfare system polygamists or not.

I recall growing up in a neighbourhood whereby Muslim sandal/scuff wearing men in their 30's 40's and 50's would laze around out the front of the corner shop drinking tiny cups of coffee on milk crates, whilst smoking (I think tobacco) from a water-pipe ...one of my friends had no less than 12 siblings she referred to as her cousins, all of which lived in 3 houses in the same street, all of which had the same father. Bad back apparently!

Smiley So he was on a pension!

He had it made, and while my parents were out keeping his wives kids, they would sit around sipping tiny cups of syrupy coffee.

What a life!

Smiley ....Our welfare system is set up to accommodate westerners, not Muslims who essentially resent our culture, way of life, even our people, this and are out for everything they can get.

And I'm not talking about the Christian ethnics, (they seem to assimilate better)...this and work hard, am referring to the Muslim woman who all too often spend their days lurking about the house or shops even when they could quite easily go out to work.

But then again, I suppose their cultural dress restricts their job prospects somewhat, much to their advantage.

Ever seen a Muslim woman working anywhere?

Apart from the family owned corner store or fruit shop this is?

And even then, usually, cash in hand, for a relative off the books.

It's in their nature to cheat the system and rip people off....it's called survival back in Iran/Turkey, etc.

This said, I have met some lovely Muslim people, just so many of them are not overly keen on westerners, that's all.

When I was 13, my Muslim friend Abir was sent to Lebanon for a holiday, (well, so I thought), when she returned 12 months later with a 40'sh year old husband and heavily pregnant.

She was only 13 when she left.

She recognised me in the street, but with her cultural head-gear on, I had no idea it was even her, she was a bright girl, was in my advanced maths class.

She left school after this...last I heard she was pregnant with baby number 4.

Sad

Also, I have no idea what happened to my avatar pic, perhaps the mods found it offensive.

Smiley Was my avatar pic removed because it offended some Muslim viewers, on account of it not being veiled perhaps?

So I ask you, how is it that you can request others respect your culture, and or right to wear a veil, when you are not willing to respect westerners right to theirs?

Australia is a western country, and you should be advised, that both Liberal and Labor are aware of the underlying cultural/socio-economical rifts/disadvantages concerning Muslims living here in predominantly westernised Australia, this and wont be immigrating them the way we have irresponsibly done so in the past.

Whether you vote Liberal or Labor, or ban my photo/IP, it doesn't really matter, given both parties agree, we need to be more selective with respects to our immigration in future.

Cool

Dunno about anybody else, but I was disturbed to recently hear the statistical prediction that more than 1/3 of Aussies will never reproduce...

Whilst that came as so real surprise to me, I believe this trend is a sad psycho-social indictment upon the devolution of humanity into mere units of economic production - who have been insidiously-conditioned from birth, to feel inadequate and insecure...to compete in the crazy rat race, by frantically chasing their tails to work and consume (and borrow)...to feed the insatiable and destructive Growth Fairy and his evil twin the Good Greedy Witch of the West...

The thing is, westerners (white trash aside) generally breed responsibly, this and breed within their means, which is why the west has superseded the middle east and enjoy a higher standard of living.

If this were the case, then this same image would have simultaneously disappeared from a number of other sites which host this same image, yes?

I might wait for a mods input on this I think, either way, a response isn't really necessary.

My apologies if some of you found this image most disturbing, now you have something in common with my poor children when they have the misfortune of having to greet me at the breakfast table each morning, hair airbrushed!!! Cheesy

Vendetta?   pmsl... no, I was merely curious as to whether I had unwittingly breached this boards TOS, given I had used my actual/real image.

This and just wanted to alert this sites mods to the obvious fact that I was not aware this was a breach of TOS when I put it up.

Mellie, I doubt if it is a violation of the TOS, but I'm happy to be corrected. If the site where you have the original doesn't support remote hosting, then it won't show on here.

It's probably just a question of resizing so that it meets the default  size guidelines.  I have a site that uses similar Yabb software, actually a slightly later model, and I relaxed the size rules so that user avatars could be bigger.

As far as the image itself is concerned, I though it was beautiful (and I don't give compliments)

Now then, lets hope this one sticks.

...I was getting rather bored with the Gillrudd pic anyway, and Kevin Rudd is definitely one individual who should never grow his hair, this or dye it red.

Grin.....

Oh and as for the image being too large, or the pic hosting sites software conflicting with this boards, I would agree, if it weren't for this site originally hosting it,(was working fine).. this and the resized pic itself is still hosting satisfactorily on another forum, so.... I doubt this is the rational. The only thing I can think of is that the picture hosting site spontaneously enlarged the resized image themselves, which I doubt, as it's still the same last time I checked.

Just one of those things I guess...and like I said, not to worry, I have a rather uncontroversial avatar now, is this one ok?

Wink Lets hope so.

And yes Mantra, i'm a real Mel,(never mind the "THE" ) and  wasn't aware there were fake Mels getting about... Grin

Mel is a common nick-name, so I'm sure there are plenty of other "real" Mels posting on other boards also.

And thanx muso, re- liking my pic, you are a minority here it appears Grin

I normally pass around vomit-bags to go with you see.... Wink

Again, sorry if I broke some sort of Ozpolitic code/rule, I had no idea that I had when I posted my pic as my avatar.

Undecided

But you said you "thought".. are you implying that your personal interpretations move beyond the subjective?

It's a fact that I think that.  Grin

Degustibus non est disputandum.

I'd put it to a poll, but mellie might be embarrassed.

Yes, right you are, I would be very embarrassed if you did this for I feel embarrassed enough that I "illegally" posted it here to begin with, and thought that it would have been too tiny for anyone to be able to determine much of anything really... other than the fact that I am white with brown hair and own a cream jacket..lol... so we might skip the poll thingy...*cringe*

...but thank you muso, I really am quite flattered that you liked my avatar.

Holy war -vrs- an up-comming election.

Lets forget about this up-coming election, (Abbott -vrs- Gillard)  rather lets focus on what matters most to your average  tea towel-head rubbing it's worry beads  down at Lakemba mosque, playing king of the urban sand-dunes on Muzzopolitical island.

Lets call a camel a camel here folks, and hurry, because I am getting rather bored here ...this and wonder why it's their own sheiks and religious leaders who appear to be so much better off than a majority of their down-trod refugees.

Smiley ....

Stop politically pandering to these parasites, they really have no idea, this and pray on their own even.

Yes, Christians have a tendency to do this too, but where are the Muslim chartable organisations which cater for anyone other than Muslims here in Australia?

Ie, St Vinnies -vrs- St Ukmeds?
xx
Really, what have they done?

Other than funnel funds towards destructive endeavours?

Smiley Night!

Lamenting the shift in the Australian psyche, away from the egalitarian ideal of the fair-go - and the rise of short-sighted pollies, who worship the 'Growth Fairy' and seek to divide and conquer!

Well Mellie, could it be that the Holy War has ended before it began?
