Who are the 'Guests' & why do they like to watch?
Jun 20th, 2010 at 12:47pm

OK, curiosity has finally got the better of me...

There seems to be a fairly-consistent number (17-18) of political voyeurs stalking these boards 24/7...

Surely, they're not predominantly members watching anonymously - so does anyone have any idea who some of them might be?

Lamenting the shift in the Australian psyche, away from the egalitarian ideal of the fair-go - and the rise of short-sighted pollies, who worship the 'Growth Fairy' and seek to divide and conquer!

What did you do, before you became a member, here?

Did you do, as I did and came along for a look, to see what it was all about?

The site knows you are looking, but it also knows you are not yet a registered member, as it does, when you become a member.

There seems to be a certain amount of latency with this version of Yabb. I'd suggest that some of them double up with members.  Ask Mozz. He can see the IP numbers.

The later version of Yabb shows Spiders separately.

LOL  Grin LOL

I will most definitly look like on "on line' a lot . Due to still being on dial up I leave the computer on while I go off sometimes for hours then come back .

So it  may appear that I'm  'on line' but I may not be  'on line'....

I think you only register if you have clicked on a link within the last 15 minutes. Once you have downloaded a page, I don't think the site has any way of knowing how long you leave it open for.
