It's all good Thy ... given the interactions I've had with dsmithy off the boards .. I've now reached the following decision: I will have nothing at all to do with the id dsmithy nor will I have anything at all to do with any other multiple id he may see fit to use on this forum.

I am very happy with that decision.

Hmmnnn....since the last post on the Yahoo Politics boards was at 4:30pm yesterday, it would seem that Yahoo were prepared to pay for Saturday Mods, instead of shutting down over the entire weekend...

In the absence of any notice or explanation from Yahoo, the disaffected Yahooligan community is left to wonder....whether this is what to expect in future...

Trouble is, the mods are so bloody inconsistent that no-one really knows WHAT to expect any more.

The Spanish Inquisition, perhaps? Tongue

Hmmmmmmmmmmm, I have a sneaking feeling I may have caused Yahoo to shut down on Saturday, I had just posted a particularly offensive critique on Julia Gizzard (which was subsequently deleted) and then poof, no more Yahoo, however I still have my ID so maybe it was all in my mind....not that I give a f**k anyway.

You do write a lot of silly things so it's quite likely
that people like you have caused the boards to shut down.

She thinks I'm you and also iamtheman Baha Angry
But due to her flaming and false accusations it's caused me to step away from these and other boards that she is associated with.
Not worrying whats going on around these places is actually quite liberating even with the weeks events.

I don't think so.
It was just a mistake.
I am glad to see that more yahoo posters are coming here.
The weekend is a good time to discuss topics.
Yahoo still has more activity than here when it is open.

As for Lisa's comment.
I am sure the flamers & trolls will increase here but it's just best
to ignore them.

I know Bobby.

Incidentally  ... it would appear that this site has Mods who take the time to effectively moderate their forum by deleting flamer/troll posts whenever they appear .. and that's very reassuring Smiley

Yes, rather than letting the trolls and flamers run riot, while grey-boxing inocuous posts, and blacklisting some posters for reasons that seem totally obscure.

One thing I do like about here, is that you can put an opinion forward with a reasonable chance of not copping a personal attack for it.

Unlike some of the responses I've received on Yahoo tonight.
