I could try asking you, but how far would that get me?

nowhere did I mention anything about pubic hair in this thread (other than to tell jordan to stop mentioning it), yet in your mixed up view of the world, this instantly equates to "resigning it to history"?? I'm truly fascinated what kind of thought(?) processes are involved in drawing such a conclusion?

While on the subject of pubes, I find our societies current obsession with the removal of pubic hair, a bit of a concern.

I think that pubic hair is a sign of sexual maturity, and the whole pre-pubescent look is going a bit far, and smacks of sexual immaturity.

So if you wish to castigate Islam for this, then it would be interesting to see how many places offer "brazillian waxing" in our culture, compared to theirs.

Thanks for your responses about pubic hair. I assume this is a central tenant of islam.

It must be good to be relieved of all that hair, but do you need to shed anything else?

Youth is a sign of good breeding potential. At it's most basic, it's like buying a lamb instead of an old ewe. The old one might be hairier and more mature, but the young one tastes better. People have been doing it since they invented blades.

I don't think the Islamic practice has anything to do with looking younger, then again we've discussed this before, and it seems immature minds just can't help but always falling back into this one.

Removal of pubic hair is part of the Abrahamic Tahoor rituals (Tahoor = cleanliness/purification), which involves clipping nails, removing pubic/underarm hair. Two parts of it are also for men only  circumcision and trimming of moustache.

I don't see why you're not very fixated on clipping toe and finger nails?? Why is that?

Hmmm.....so when I state it, it's "inappropriate nonsense".

Seems to me I was right after all.

Your immature fixation on it is what's inappropriate.

It belongs in a primary school toilet, not in a discussion amongst adults.

Oh I see, your interpretation of a "fixation" is simply mentioning a fact. Tell me who's really immature, abu?

Your "forum" is becoming a joke, with you banning this member and that member, and deleting willy nilly so nothing actually makes any sense. This comes from a position of weakness, not of power.

It's a fixation because even though it's been discussed and explained, it's still something regularly brought up. And always with the same tired old inaccurate claims about it promoting resemblance of pre-pubescants. It's sad really.

I ban whoever breaks the rules repeatedly. I do not just ban someone who I dislike or who causes me grief. The proof of this is you posting here right now.

So stop whining. If you don't like the rules, don't post here, it's as simple as that. You know when you come here what the score is. Why you insist on whining about it is beyond me. You're almost getting as bad as sprint.

Is clipping nails required? That's easy. I can do that. Where do they tell you all this? Is it in the Koran?

Well, it's a fact that it resembles pre-pubescents. You can't argue with that.

Very Islamic of you.

So you don't like me and I cause you grief. I can live with that.

Who's whining? I'm stating obvious facts about your ridiculous behaviour.

Come on, let's not lose our heads now.

So does being slim, doesn't mean keeping your body slim is to resemble pre-pubescants.

And as mozza pointed out, it's also quite common amongst the mainstream population, are you suggesting they're all trying to imitate pre-pubescants?

Look just admit you're being a bit of a goose, and get on with it.

Terrible analogy.

Yes, and it's sick.
