Al-Jazeera reporters may well be all over the globe but the islamic world, and the Arabs in particular, have no intellectual presence or influence anywhere in the world, except among Muslims.

Non-muslims do not turn to any of the Arab satellite stations for news or intellectual stimulation. You cannot have an open and free discussion with Arabs so they have zero cultural influence among non-Muslims.

Muslims generally have negligible intellectual influence among non-muslims execept among the 'I-am-more-sensitive-that-you' brigade. They have nothing, as Muslims, that the rest of the world wants or is interested in. Going apeshit every five minutes is not the way to win friends and influence people. Wait till the oil runs out or is superceded and they will sink back to even greater irrelevance.
