That data from 12 years ago - a period practically lost in the mist of time - was perfectly good to base idiotic doomsday predictions on, a hundred years out. But now, suddenly, there's nothing to see there, move on.

All I'm saying is that there have been dozens of studies since then that confirm the original study - and the data is much more robust. There is no point dwelling on data from a 1998 study, valid though it may be.
