Maybe I'm a bit insecure,
but I kinda think the 'traditional' Western or modern Wedding is somewhat 'artistically and spiritually' racist.
I mean, I feel sorry for all the 'white male and black female' marriages that have to wear the reverse.
I'm sure a White woman and a Black man would feel more comfortable in their attire, if not more so.

Having done an Art course
and the fact that you have
Blue people,
Green people,
Brown people,
Grey people,
Red people,
Yellow people,
...besides just Black and White people. Roll Eyes

I think Purple (mauve) seems like a nice 'neutral' colour for Weddings to be quite honest.
I couldn't get a purple suit but settled for purple shirts (sorry no ties or cumberbands ...so erk!) and decor. The purple wedding dress is a very expensive dress, like platinum to gold - so my wife settled with White although she loves purple.
