Also something about this case often not mentioned is that when it occurred, the U.S propaganda machine was running in overtime, and it was reported as being carried out by "insurgents".

Makes the average thinker wonder how many more of the acts supposedly carried out by insurgents were actually carried out by the U.S and their allies. Very convenient way to cover up your war crimes. And since your own populous is generally too stupid to question it, there's little chance of it being exposed, except in rare cases like this when the truth comes out.

Steven Green was considered the ringleader in the rape and murders

A former US soldier convicted of rape and murder while serving in Iraq will spend life in prison, a judge in the US state of Kentucky has confirmed.

Steven Green, 24, is to serve five consecutive life sentences for raping a 14-year-old Iraqi girl and killing her and her family near Baghdad in 2006.

Green was convicted in May but the jury could not unanimously agree a sentence and he was spared the death penalty.

Four other soldiers are serving time for their roles in the crime.
