There is nothing worse than a good looking girl who doesn't enjoy a good laugh. And as previously mentioned, mental stability is a HUGE must have.

Sorry, Lisa, but I've sat back for too long and watched you first flirt, then publicly fight, with a number of would-be suitors - both on Yahoo and again on here. To date, I have refrained from interfering, with your right to use political forums to network, but this repetitive courtship pattern has proven to be terribly-dysfunctional and increasingly-unpleasant to witness. I am fairly sure that I am not the only former Yahoo person who feels so uncomfortable about being subjected to all of this. Seriously, if you are more interested in looking for a mate than you are in politics, then, I would suggest that you seek out a more appropriate forum. Cheers, Nem Wink

Nemesis .. you have the right to think and post whatever you like .. it's a pity that you don't quite understand that it's my right to make friends with males (not just females) on any forum I post.

Whilst here .. I want to highlight the fact that you got very uncomfortable when macca and I became firm friends in real time last year .. and since then you've begun rumours that he and I are the same person. Why have you done this??? And you continue to denigrate the man at every turn when he helped you out on a personal matter. It seems quite horrible of you actuallly if you dont mind me saying.

Ans these baseless and laughable rumours abound even here on this forum .. and believe you me it's very funny for me and macca .. to see. The only commonality we have is this: we are right wingers and we love the same trendy cars and cafes in Sydney. Oh and we destest flamers and trolls.

I find it interesting that you have consistently remained silent on the behaviour of such abusers on Yahoo .. and even on here. However you find friendly chatting ever so offensive that it prompted you to come online and post about.

I guess that's what makes us very different women Nemesis ... not just our different political ideologies .. but the fact that I enjoy the company of men .. esp those who are intelligent. That is why I have many friends who I may have met online to begin with .. but who I now know in real time and am thankful and privileged to call REAL FRIENDS.

And for some reason they enjoy my company .. it could be because I am fun to be around as a FRIEND???

I did finally take your advice and refused to even posts on threads she is active on(although breaking that rule for the 1st and only time now) but reading through the posts over the past couple of weeks has been cringe inducing, the syrupy posts to original posters, the repeated accusations of trolling followed pleas to the mods to bann people all indicate a very sad individual

Look, Lisa, I do not wish to become embroiled in a public debate with you over this, so I shall make only the following comments regarding the sections that I have highlighted above: -

* If you review my post on the matter of other posters, alleging that you and Macca were one and the same, you will see that I actually disagreed with those who made that suggestion.

* I have not remained totally silent, in fact, I copped some flack - from both Smithy and Ima and both on here and on Yahoo - because I tried to subtly hint that the 3 of you should chill. Some of the relevant exchanges may have been on this very thread.

* I will privately take up the matters you mention with Macca, another time.

As I indicated earlier, I have some empathy for you and I remain sorry that I felt the need to speak out - but any uninvolved observer can see that: the circumstances that gave rise to my intervention, have zip to do with posts made by me - for I am definitely not the common denominator in this scenario.

Clearly, I made a mistake by intervening - but, for your own sake, I hope that you will reflect upon the constructive criticism of my earlier comments and the good faith in which they were made.
