"Religious Atheism"
I'd put that phrase down as an "oxymoron", depending on your definition of "religion", and whether or not that definition involves a deity.
The term,
"Religious Atheism"....
....could be meant to be, following a belief in
atheism, with a
'religious' fervour.
Dictionary,
religious = =
1 of, concerned with, or believing in a religion. Ř belonging or relating to a monastic order or other group united by their practice of religion.
2 treated or regarded with a devotion and scrupulousness appropriate to worship.Atheists
believe, that there is no God.
And yet, atheists cannot
prove that proposition.
i.e. In an 'infinite' universe it is not possible to prove that something does
not exist.
It is only possible to
prove the affirmative [
.....within an 'infinite' universe].
[our universe may, or may not be, infinite. but as far as the limits of mankind's present knowledge is concerned, our universe
is infinite!]
Only an omniscient or omnipresent being, person, could know if there is, or if there is not, a God [within our universe].
But i would postulate, that no human being alive today is omniscient, or omnipresent.
Therefore the natural man cannot know, if there is a God.
But many men today, declare with a
'religious' fervour,
that they are certain, that there is no God.
Hence the term,
"'Religious' Atheism".

Is that clear now?
