I should probably post this in the rumour mill thread however....

I have heard when nutters come to the police with things that they can't really do much about, and continue to come to the police and report nonsense due to their excessively large paranoia, anxiety, or sense of self righteousness, that police will sometimes tell them that they want them on the team, as an undercover, they take their fingerprints, and tell them that they have a license to kill, but if they get caught, the police will deny it and lock them up for murder or take them out a back paddock somewhere. They tell them they are perfect because they have no police background and no one would suspect them. They also phone them regularly to ease their fear.

There are a few genuine undercovers though.

Well we can thank you for that Easel. No wonder the D's are being so helpful - it must have been after you reported your complaints to them that they became suspicious. And here I was thinking it was my charm that was encouraging all this extra attention.

I haven't actually been in contact with police regarding anything off this website, yet.

If you are in contact with them over another matter not connected with this website - then they've linked you up with something else. Have you had your fingerprints taken yet? They haven't asked for mine. Shocked

You know what this means Calanen - police just aren't what they used to be. They want to stay safe - so they spend their time helping people with relatively simple matters such as mine and know they can go home to their families in one piece at the end of a shift.

My fingerprints are on file. I have not been in contact with state police in recent memory except for an enquiry about how loud music can be and at what time it can be on.
