Bali bomber promises revenge for executions
Oct 1st, 2008 at 4:25pm

"Three death row Bali bombers today vowed there would be retribution if their executions went ahead.

Amrozi - who played a lead role in the 2002 Bali bombings that killed 202 people, including 88 Australians - also said he would carry out another bombing if given the chance.

His comments came as people gathered in Bali to mark the third anniversary of the second bombings in 2005 that killed 20 people, including four Australians.

Amrozi remained defiant today, as he and his co-accused - his brother Mukhlas and Imam Samudra - were allowed out of their cells at their island prison off Central Java to mark the Islamic holiday Eid el Fatr.

"If it's true that there will be an execution, then all the people committing the execution will be condemned to die by god," Amrozi told journalists at the jail on Nusakambangan Island.

"Is anyone ready to die? Only god knows about that.

"If it's true that later on I will be executed, certainly there will be someone who will take revenge. I don't have to say who will take revenge."

Mukhlas also said "all the executors," including President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, would pay if the three bombers were put before a firing squad.

"Execution is the biggest criminal act (possible), especially when it is applied to warriors like us," he said.

"All those who are involved in the execution will be condemned by God," he ranted, adding shouts of "God is great".

"The followers will take revenge actions, other warriors. If anyone kills us then there will be a (sic) revenge from all over the place.

"I've never regretted these bombings ... I will not ask for forgiveness from those infidels."

The three bombers last week reportedly said they were confident they would not be put to death this year.

The Indonesian government halted plans for their executions out of respect for the holy Islamic fasting month, but is expected to resume preparations shortly.

The three men have exhausted all legitimate legal options.

However, their lawyers have launched yet another action in Indonesia's Constitutional Court, arguing that execution by firing squad amounts to torture because they might not die immediately."

Sounds like attempted blackmail to me.

Buggered if I know why they present this prick with the martyrdom of execution.

Keep the little turd alive, in complete isolation.

Oh I agree, I don't believe in the death penalty at all, and I think these pigs deserve nothing more than to live a long, lonely, pitiful existence until they die.

Believer in collective punishment are we sprint? Do you think the families of people who commit crimes should be punished for those crimes also?

Doesn't surprise me, the West have supported Israel doing this for decades.

And actually it's part of the whole Judaeo-Christian tradition of 'the stain of original sin' isn't it?

It's despicable, really.

I actually agree with you here Rashid.

This makes me laugh. The moron claims execution is the biggest criminal act yet that is exactly what he got his stooges to carry out. These scumbags are not warriors far from it in fact, they targeted unarmed, unsuspecting people who were unaware that they were at war with anybody so therefore the bombers and those who sent them out are not warriors at all, but ''the biggest criminals'' as they basically executed 202 people.

their families prob know what they are up to.

Is an added incentive for people to NOT murder 100's of totally innocent people.
ie, become a terrorist, and your whole family get punished too.

Yeh they must, they read the same book after all... right?

So do you think it should be implemented here in Australia too? If your cousin of your uncle or your brother happens to commit a crime, then you should receive some share of the punishment for it too?

Or is it only good enough for Muslims?

Ok. Well, if it's all the same to you we'll just go ahead and assume what muslims think of statements like those.....seeing as when given the opportunity to explain, you refuse.

You always do go ahead and assume anyway, that's why most Muslims have tired of trying to appease you, thank God.

Actually.. that was my explanation. I don't think much about the retribution.

Not always, here is a perfect example of giving you the opportunity to state your views and thoughts on the matter before I made any assumptions at all.

Gee, you normally write a novella or at least fairly detailed responses when you're attacking anything non-muslim. But on this, your response is far from in depth. Is this because you have trouble criticising these pigs? Or is it because you agree with them? Or both?
