Freedom, control, responsibililty and dicsclipline
Jun 30th, 2008 at 12:38pm

This thread inspired by some of Helians comments.

We are all free.
Whether we want to be or not. Many do not want to be free.
They want to be controlled.
They willingly hand their freedom over to another person or establishment.
Be it a spouse, a mortgagor or a religious establishment.

With freedom comes choices, responsibility and consequences.
If we forego the freedom, we do not have to make a decision, we hope to absolve ourselves of our own responsibility.
We still reap the consequences though.

There is a disclipline asked of within freedom.
We are in a free society, as long as we remain discliplined within the laws.
If we continually are undiscliplined, we have our freedom taken away.
The person who has committed crimes may have his freedom suspended while he is in jail.
He has been undiscliplined, now loses temporarioly his freedom.
Had he been discliplined, his freedom would not be in question.
