Your moderation has already proved to be head and shoulders above this useless display from Mantra. How quickly her true colours shine through...what a front bottoms

I did not delete a single post or thread, nor silence a single person in  the couple of months I modded.  mantra took just ten seconds to silence free speech despite lying about that not being her intention.

It really is a disgusting display.

Perhaps FD will be courteous enough to act using the same logic he applies to posters wishing to have their posts deleted to those that will have their posts deleted without wanting them to be and reinstate them??  Roll Eyes

Political Animal has little moderation. It is the forum for free speech and free thinkers to converse passionately without the threat of being banned. It is a forum for adults.

Yes- I have pulled her up many, many, many times in the past about her propensity to lie- yet she still protests her innocence. She can be the worst liar of all...one who lies to herself.

Perhaps if she recognised her problem she could make some valuable progress and she wouldn't have to continue lying...especially to herself. Thankfully in this thread she finally took the time to look inwardly and saw that she made a fool of herself in the other thread- their may be hope for her yet but I wouldn't put any money on it.

How scary for you deepthought.  But you'll get used to the lovely Laborites and gentle Greens soon enough and forget all about your freedom.  Smiley

Nope, a citizen has the responsibility to fight against oppressive and deceitful dictatorships.  Though I know Bob Brown disagrees.  He believes he is the decider of who does what - and you are a loyal follower.

IQ - I would appreciate you not refer to me again as a "C".   Not that anything you say bothers me anymore, but by you using this form of abuse - it gives other people the right to believe they can do the same thing.

I will not refer to you as a "C" if you don't act like a "C"

That is a good idea Sappho - I think freediver was saying something about it earlier. Maybe he will reinstate that option eventually.

When I was mod of the Relationships Forum  posters had that option. Why was it removed?

I removed it because I suspected it was being abused. People can still delete the content of their post, which only happens occasionally anyway. If you want you can start a new thread about it and I will reinstate it if there aren't too many objections.

How about calling someone an idiot?  Or a liability?  Same thing apply?  By using this form of abuse it gives other people the right to believe they can do the same thing?

Recently on the Relationships Forum a good half dozen posts were deleted - for what reason - who knows, but apparently the moderator must have thought they were of no relevance.  These posts were chatty and related to the thread they were in.

Those whose posts were deleted (including me) said nothing - although the moderator of the Relationships forum, who chooses to remain anonymous didn't have the courtesy to explain why.

Yesterday morning I made a very polite request in regard to some photos, which I believed trashed a thread I started and there has been no response.  The anonymous moderator hasn't bothered to replied to my PM so hence I'm making it public.

You can say goodbye to that thread now and guests viewing it no doubt will think less of the forum.  Thankfully a similar thread has been started on another website to continue this discussion, which still has a long way to go.

Thanks for the update mantra.
I don't go to that thread.
prob the idea of an anonymous moderator put me off.

As a rule, I feel few posts should be deleted.
Sure, some call for it but in the main they only reflect on the poster, not the postee.

True sprintcyclist - but if you saw these photos, you would probably agree.
