?Australia day weekend
Jan 27th, 2008 at 10:17pm

What did we do during Australia day, or the weekend.
On Aussie day (saturday) we went to Burleigh beach early in the morning, then had woolworths sausages for lunch.
pretty Aussie thing to do .

They have lost about 4' of sand there, not very good for swimmig now.
We left about 9.30 am, well before the trouble later.

Take care all

I made the news, playing cricket in the park. I was batting. Unfortunately none of us saw it - my neighbours recognosed me and told me about it.

So this is what you missed out on eh sprint?

Twelve charged over Australia Day melee

http://news.smh.com.au/twelve-charged-over-australia-day-melee/20080127-1oec.html

Twelve youths have been charged with hurling bottles, kicking and spitting on police officers during boozy Australia Day celebrations on Queensland's Gold and Sunshine Coasts.

Two officers were injured in the melee on the Sunshine Coast, and capsicum spray was used on one teenager.

Paramedics also were kept busy after several people were injured in a string of swimming, boating, motorbike and paragliding accidents across the state.

That's a bit radical and they've been in the news recently.  So what did they do there?  Was the meeting room covered in swastikas and did they appear as dangerous as the media has indicated?

No! no swastikas or anything horrifically radical. its an Australian Nationalist party not a Nazi party.
The media will always twist things around when there is a threat to the current two party system.
Remember, SBS, ABC and Triple J are owned by the Government.
