I don't think a moderator should be casting moral judgements on what they think is 'disgusting' or 'unpleasant'- Perhaps you should just stick to moderating?

I didn't give you an earful I merely did what the thread said I would do - you started up the shrieking when you would not take responsibility for your own actions.

You are the flexible member because you believe it should all hang out regardless of who is offended. I am, on the other hand, just attempting to raise standards here a bit so will remain inflexible in some situations. You've got Oceans as well for a bit of balance - doesn't that make you happy? If I am occasionally a bit heavy handed - she will lighten the situation and vice versa.

We'll get it sorted out eventually.

Yes. Flexibility is allowing everyone the right to choose their topics. Not having them arbitrarily decided for you by the forum puritan.
