Yes, but only really if the matter has significance for you, and you have an entitlement to an opinion.

For example if he wears black socks and you think wearing grey ones will get him promoted then his opinion should count more in the first place as the issue is about what he does, his work and his promotion (or not), not yours. Similarly if he thinks you should wear grey and you hate it.

Arguements are only healthy if the 2 involved actually listen to each other...that means hear what the other has to say with a spirit of openess..otherwise its just a bunch of words dispersing inot the greater beyond with noone to hear but the birds and higher life forms on Mars and other random planets
