That's hilarious. It is so typical. My daughter says the same to some males. When I say "what about so and so - he seems nice" and she always says -"he is nice, but he's gay - he just doesn't know it yet".

I wouldn't take it personally - it's just a misconception that happens occasionally.

Well it must appeal to quite a few men - because gay men seem more abundant than straight men, according to some women still in the meat market looking for someone.
