The two issues usually widely acknowledged are sex and money, but I think there are more, and there may not be legitimate generalisations as every individual and relationship is unique.

I think in hetero" the remote" one is a biggie and yes as you say sex and money..Friends are another sometimes we hate our partners friends.

Id imagine the same for many gay couples.Most gay couples dont have kids so thats a conlict area gays dont have .etc.

The family car also....
