Often people will say "Let me see it" and hold out their hand to hold the object.
They want to touch it. They are not content with seeing it.
I have tested this by holding the object up so they can SEE it, but not touch it.
No, they want to hold it. To feel it.
Objects have an added reality to them, when they are felt.
If they cannot be felt it is a dimension of the object that is missing.
It is not as credible. Same as things like pluto. earth is different as I have felt it myself.
People in clothes shops run their hands over the clothes. Touchy feely people are well liked.
It is a very strong real way of communicating, knowing others.
One of my touchy feely mates said a hug has to last at LEAST 3 seconds (I think) to be .... "felt" fully.
Another friend is just not a hugger. But my g/f and I "trap" him at times and give him the full 3 second hug. He is as stiff as a board initially, but by now knows us so is used to it.

You're allowed to do that to brothers.
