Sin

Sin is one of those ugly words. Like rape or murder.
It seems everyone has sinned. So everyone is confronted by that word.

Everyone is personally confronted by the word "sin."
No wonder it is not popular. No wonder it is not commonly used.
Everyone personally knows they are guilty when the word "sin" is spoken.
It is one of these things "Our Hearts" tell us. We don't need to understand it mentally.
We know.

Like the spoken word, the released arrow, a posted letter or a sent email, my sins are irretreviable.
I can't take them back. They have happened. I have sinned.
They are just one of those bad things in this life.
Of ourselves we can't redeem them. Others can forgive us, or we forgive others.
But the sin still occured. Awful isn't it.
Forgiveness lets us continue. The stain of sin remains.

"If a man digs a pit, he will fall into it;
if a man rolls back a stone, it will roll back on him."
Proverbs 26:27

That was a word from God to finish my post.
I could not find the ending, so He gave it to me right now.

That was very profound sprintcyclist.  When you recognise sin in yourself though, it should be easy enough to recognise it in others.  The important thing is not to follow those who think sinning is acceptable.

Stay true to your own beliefs regardless of whether you aren't the same as others.
