Enviro - yes, scantily clad women are used .... pornographically toward men to "advertise" anything.

I find that morally and intellectually offensive.
Spiritually it is used to isolate men and women.

Bobyouruncle - SOME women are like that.
My ex is a very good woman.

You're right deepthought. Women are so competitive between there own species it is unbelievable. When you spend years researching this stuff it makes you worry about the female species. Such a manipulating bunch. Mind you any female that reads this will have their claws out but that's fine it will only reinforce what I'm saying.

women are competetive--but then so are men!

Competitiveness is not a bad thing.

personally, I often feel it goes far too far on the sports field. Hence, I do not go there Smiley

Competition is good and participants partake of their own free will.

You're right, perhaps more so - but in different ways - men compete with acts of strength blah blah blah.   Women often compete with each other over aspects of beauty - and perhaps that's why the nudey girly stuff advertising undies, hairlessness and tampons (?).

Mostly women dress for each other, and display for each other.   If men stare at women's exposed boobs they get in the poo but women comment on each others mammaries.

Do they speak in some kind of code? I've never heard a woman talk to another one about her breasts, except in the context of breastfeeding.

Unless you are a woman you wouldn't likely hear it.

Though, that said, you can see all this kind of stuff on the telly really.   Watch ACA or Today Tonight sometime and every week there is some story on a new kind of bra.   The women in the show are yabbering on about how their boobs stick out like this or that or in a different type of T Shirt they can have boobs to die for.

Ever seen a show with blokes showing off how large their nuts look in a new type of Y Front?

Yeah oceans I am a guy.    I listen when women speak.   Because I have to or I get belted for not paying attention.    Wink

Nahhh, it's a characteristic of women that they dress largely for each other, obsess about who will be wearing what, talk about each others 'attributes' and then gossip about each other when they're not there.

Whereas the bloke will never ask if his bum looks big in something, whether he should wear this or that kind of genital displaying outfit, never notice if some dude has a huge package and once his mate's gone he forgets he ever existed so he can drink his beer.

Maybe the queer eye for the straight guys do.   Dunno.

No I thought you were a bloke, and I do agree about women and their obsessions-even though I hate to admit it. We can be pretty rediculous soemetimes and it even exasperateds me, the insecurity of women...... How observant of you . Wink

I wish were a male  a lot of times, so I didnt have to compete in the female arena. Farting, burping and hot days and no shirt on . The luxury of getting drunk (if I cared to) with no thought to the consequence of looking like a complete drunken loser, and next morning waking with not a hint of remorse or guilt. It would be great to be  guy for those reasons.

I only saw the Queer Eyes on TV so Im know as much as you ..

back to the topic.

So I guess we have to ask :

Why do women pose pornographically to promote the sales of cars/garages/songs/timber/hats/soap/anything for someone else  ?

If you say they pose pornographically sprint-youve led a very sheltered life.

They do not pose pornographically.

Pornography is when the human geni-talia are involved .

I guess they pose the way they do to promote sales of a product . They are employed by advertisers wishing to enhance the sale of certain products by the using the charms of women to appeal to the male customer.

It must be working .

In America a hot bodied bimbo in a bikini could sell anything.

In Australia they use women like Germaine Greer and Penny Wong to sell stuff.

Undecided
