That is a shocking indictment upon education systems, in Western societies, in the 21st century.

And it is occurring because [for decades now] we have been teaching our children, that it is more important to learn how to convey [pleasing] LIES to others in our society, than to convey real knowledge [aka TRUTH].

i.e.
We have been teaching our children, how to convey a [social] 'opinion', as a fact.

And many of our children today, can't tell the difference !

relevant = = closely connected or appropriate to the matter in hand.

THE TRUTH....
The peoples of every Western nation are in danger of suffering from a lack of 'relevance', within an increasing dangerous world.

Knowledge is POWER.

And it appears, that we have put insane [and illogical] people, in charge of educating our children.

'The lunatics, are in charge of the asylum.'

In a past age the peoples of Western [European] nations embraced what we now know as the Renaissance.

Renaissance = = the revival of art and literature under the influence of classical models in the 14th–16th centuries.

Those peoples of those nations chose to experience, and to embrace a love of [pure] knowledge, and of learning and reasoned thinking, and of CRITICAL THINKING.

And they chose, to attribute prestige and merit to such knowledge [aka TRUTH].

And in the following decades and centuries, those European nations subsequently became the competing world powers, in their day.

Whereas today, the descendants of those same peoples, have chosen to abandon reasoned thinking, and to abandon CRITICAL THINKING, and, a love of reason and truth.

Today the peoples of Western nations believe that human PLEASURE, and SELF-INTEREST, and [tolerance of] LIES, should be the primary currency of all human interaction.

Today, [in our society] truth and integrity are unimportant and have little value, as cultural mores.

[And our politicians are our example!]

Today, we must learn how to convey LIES, in all of our interpersonal interactions, because we have learnt [and it cannot be denied] that such LYING, so often prove to best serve our own interests.

Multiculturalism.

We have chosen to 'adopted' many of the mores and values, of those peoples whom we have recently 'mingled' with.

Australia is a 1st world nation.

We should be much higher in these rankings.

But it is not a surprise that we are not.

Lowering education standards [or any other competency standard], so that every child can feel worthy, has brought Australian education to where we are today, imo.

competent = = having the necessary ability or knowledge to do something successfully. efficient and capable.

The influence of the socialist 'lovies' today, upon our cultural standards, is having the effect, of Australia morphing into a incompetent, corrupt, shi thole nation, imo.

And there are already, plenty of shi thole nations to go around.

We should aspire, to be better.

Our Australian nation won't [and can't] excel, by choosing to lower our competency standards [in any field of competition], in order to allow 95%-99% of the 'herd' to be deemed, to be 'acceptable'.

Evil and mediocrity, neither could be regarded as being excellent.

QUESTION;
Why do we see so many people today, FLEEING from 3rd world nations, seeking to, wanting to, get entry into 1st world nations ?

e.g.
Seeking entry, into nations like the USA, Canada, European nations, Australia, NZ.

I would suggest, that almost everyone [in the world!] would probably aspire, to live in a 'space' [a country], which is peaceful, safe and prosperous.

aspires = = 'wants to'

But we see, in the world, that many people do not [live in peaceful, safe and prosperous nations].

Why so ?

And why is it, that so many of those very same people, coming from 3rd world nations [when they were living within their homeland], chose to reject the cultural standards which produce [cultural] excellence ?

No reason to single out teens, plenty of people of all ages seem to be unable to distinguish between fact and opinion. Case in point the current "impeachment circus". Help the uninformed voter believe Trump committed a crime while scores of corrupt Democrats have not.

No wonder teenagers today [and many emotionally weak people!] are confused about 1/ what is real [factual], about 2/ their sexuality, and 3/ about their 'position' within the social menage [...or menagerie!] of 21st century political/social identity.

Every authoritative education authority today are constantly 'moving the goal posts' about personal 'identity', dependent upon what is this months politically correct, identity fad.
