Title: Gillard urged to resort to Turncoat Turnbull
Post by mellie on Sep 6th, 2010 at 8:12pm
Must have ran out of members of her own party willing  to support her  toxic regime.....  Beggars cant be choosers I guess. lol

You call this stability?

Next she'll be outsourcing from India... what a joke!

I told you Turnbull was a turncoat, with a republican agenda.

This is why Liberal got rid of him to begin with...he was a traitor.

Quote:
Former NSW premier Bob Carr has suggested Prime Minister Julia Gillard recruit Malcolm Turnbull as a key cabinet minister in a future minority Labor government.

As the nation enters its third week of waiting for an outcome to the August 21 poll, Mr Carr - NSW's longest serving premier - today posed a number of solutions to end the deadlock, including bringing Mr Turnbull, a former Coalition leader, on to the Labor frontbench.

I think this would be a great idea. Both Turnbull and Gillard have taken some positions that impressed me - things that should have been done a while back, but which are not exactly easy for the public to here, so most politicians have not been game to address them.

From Gillard, it was the population issue.

From Turnbull, it was carbon taxes.

I think they would make a winning combination.

You will have to be content with Gillard and Bob in bed together. I think that the reason that Labor-Turnbull is attractive to Left leaning voters is that they are very uncomfortable with the extreme left position they can see Labor heading with the Greens in charge if the detour signs

I think these repetitive, thoughtless threads - and Mel's not the only culprit, are causing headaches for the moderators.

A thread just disappeared and I assume it was an accident. It's getting too hard to sift out the good from the bad on this forum.

She's another obsessed dingbat of the type that crawls in here from time to time .... Must've been getting lonely in her neck of the swamp.

Mellie just spams sh1t, I'm over it, when do we get our forum back from this ignoramus? It doesn't seem to matter how many times she is told to stop it, she keeps doing it.

Yeah, same threads in other words are ridiculous.
Is it trying to portray some avalanche of opinion or something?
It's just stupid.
I know for you right whingers, it's all about the "Agenda", but spare a thought for those who want a thread to progress naturally.

There is the link to the other thread.

I bet you don't like the other thread cause it is proposition from labor and you are trying to turn it around to make labor look bad.

In Mel's defence - she can write a good post, but she is too prolific and that's where she gets into trouble on forums.

She gets under my skin at times also, but she is generally good natured - she just needs to slow down a little so that the rest of us can catch up.

A hell of a lot of people liked Turnbull. He needs another crack at it, and I'm sure he'll get it.

I hope you are right mantra but I can't see it the liberals supporters will be on here having a good moan on how bad labor and the greens goverment will be.

Let them moan Riverina - it won't help their cause and they'll move onto other topics eventually.

Yes she can be at times Skippy, but any forum benefits from someone who stirs it up occasionally.

You watch how many threads start when labor gets the gong from the independents

Please refrain from swearing skip, and also do not make propriatary claims about the forum as belonging to anyone, FD has clearly made this place open to all, who show an interest in politics, and who can abide by some pretty easy rules of behaviour, one of which is not being deliberately offensive and foul mouthed.
I know you do not make a habit of it, but it is something we all need to abide by, so a reminder for you, is a reminder for all.

No, I looked at the thread mantra, and it had too much specific accusatory opinions about people's sexuality that made it offensive, so I deleted the whole thread, as speculating on such matters is low, and undignified, so I guess it is no huge surprise that mel started the thread, lol.

Are people not a little too precious these days on these subjects?!

I don't know the comments you're on about, but it pains me the 'politically correct' world we live in nowadays.
Lord only knows what my grandparents would make of the over-protective way we are these days about people's 'feelings'!!

I welcome all the new posters here it has made this forum a better place and I didn't mean it to sound like "we were here first" but really Mozz, mellie just goes on and on about the same thing, it wouldn't be such a problem if any of it made any sense or was remotely true but most of it is pure fantasy.
