Israel KILLS Al-Jazeera Journos In TARGETED Strike
Aug 13th, 2025 at 7:28pm

check it out. Sad

Just call someone a terrorist and it's a license to kill if you are an Israeli and they never have to provide any valid evidence to back up their murders Sad

https://www.timesofisrael.com/amid-global-outcry-idf-says-al-jazeera-reporter-it-killed-was-receiving-hamas-salary/

Quote:
An Israeli military spokesperson asserted on Monday that the prominent Al Jazeera journalist it killed a day earlier was an active Hamas member who received a salary from the terror group, as the international outcry mounted over the Gaza City strike that also took the lives of five other reporters.

“Prior to the strike, we obtained current intelligence indicating that [Anas] al-Sharif was an active Hamas military wing operative at the time of his elimination. In addition, he received a salary from the Hamas terror group and terrorist supporters, Al-Jazeera, at the same time,” IDF international spokesman Lt. Col. Nadav Shoshani said on X.

The IDF said that Sharif was “the head of a Hamas terrorist cell and advanced rocket attacks on Israeli civilians and IDF troops.

“Intelligence and documents from Gaza, including rosters, terrorist training lists and salary records, prove he was a Hamas operative integrated into Al Jazeera,” it said, alongside a screenshot of relevant documents.

The documents, published by the IDF in October, showed that Sharif joined Hamas’s military wing on December 3, 2013, where he served as a commander of a rocket-launching squad in northern Gaza. He was certified as the team commander on January 1, 2019, according to the documents.

The documents also listed Sharif’s military ID number as 305342.

On April 7, 2017, Sharif was wounded in his eye and suffered hearing loss during Hamas training, though he continued to remain in the organization on a $200 a month salary, according to a 2023 document published by the military.

A separate, undated document showed that Sharif’s name was on the internal phone registry of the elite Nukhba Force company in Hamas’s East Jabalia Battalion. A codename for Sharif is also listed in the directory.

In his Monday post, Shoshani wrote that the documents the army published in October are “only a small, declassified portion of our intelligence on al-Sharif leading up to the strike.”

So the guy continued to report from Gaza despite being openly identified by the IDF as an active member of a terrorist organisation. Why would Al Jazeera deliberately put their journalists in such extreme danger?

Nail, John and Greg, I would also be interested in how this fits in with your conspiracy theory that Israel is preventing news getting out of the Gaza strip by not allowing journalists in.

The biggest terrorist is the war criminal running Israel Sad

Just let the international journos in and stop targeting journalists just so the IDF can hide their crimes. Problem solved Wink

This sounds like a fairly broad conspiracy. If the Israeli government is the biggest terrorist, can you explain why so many countries have declared Hamas a terrorist organisation, but not Israel?

Also, do you think that Al Jazeera did the right thing in sending Anas al-Sharif into Gaza, accompanied by 5 other journalists who were also killed, after Israel openly declared their belief that he was a member of a terrorist organisation nearly a year ago?

Other than a large number of dead journalists, what do you think would happen if more journalists were allowed in?

Congratulations on trying to find evidence to back up your claim Nail. Would you mind highlighting the bit where it accuses him, or the state of Israel, or terrorism?

Would you say you "essentially agree" with the claim that Israel is a terrorist organisation, even if you don't "actually agree" with it?

Also, do you think that Al Jazeera did the right thing in sending Anas al-Sharif into Gaza, accompanied by 5 other journalists who were also killed, after Israel openly declared their belief that he was a member of a terrorist organisation nearly a year ago?

Other than a large number of dead journalists, what do you think would happen if more journalists were allowed in?

Also, can you explain how they managed to get this news out to the world even though, according to you, the Israelis would prevent such news from escaping?

Upload it with what ? IDF will be jamming or disabling the internet services the same way it won't allow journalists in. Also no electricity to charge phones.

Just let the journos in and stop mucking around Sad If as you claim Hamas is the terrorist then this will come out with proper investigative journalism.  Wink

What do you mean if? Everyone already knows Hamas is a terrorist organisation. Hamas is not exactly keeping it a secret. How many journalists do you think should die in order to prove the bleeding obvious?

Lets get real guys.

Israel knows it's losing the propaganda war as pictures of starving and dead
women and children appear on our TVs every night.

Killing journalists is a way to shoot the messenger
to help in Israel's propaganda war -
try to stop the truth getting out - as much as possible.
That is a bit difficult with mobile phone cameras
and Starlink internet connections.
