How are your views on 'preference voting' allowing the theft of election by a party that gains a third of the popular vote; dividing th states in more manageable and less centrally controlled regional States so as to more appropriately reflect the views and needs of the more LOCAL peoples; and moving to a Senate position of two senators for each New State - thus depriving the major city centres of the absolute control they currently possess over the regions through sheer force of numbers, and allowing those city centres to wallow in their own deluded policies and such without devastating the rest of the country?
Queensland could easily be split into a dozen states (leaving Brisdrain the rump and wallowing in its own BS); NSW six or seven; Victoria three or four leaving Fortress Melbourne to wallow in ITS BS; Tasmania three; South Australia three or four; Western Australia four or five; and the NT four or so... total maximum of 39 New States = 78 Senators.... or maybe 37 New States = 74 Senators. You can disband the local councils and move to state service to the people....... if we slice off Arnhem Land and the Aboriginal Homeland along the crocodile mangrove country up there - that would leave us 37 or 35 states... all reflecting more the views of their constituents ... and able to vote down stupid ideas handed up by the party that most recently Stole The Election.
EVERY election is stolen from the voting public... that is why we are unable to get rid of the disastrous government of two parties - the Tag Team - who are bent on ruining this country.
Preference voting is a scam that van be well used by unscrupulous.
All you need to do is saturate the voting with people who preference your party.
It's sneaky and underhanded.
First past the post is more honest.
I also believe in non compulsory voting.
As for the number of regions/ politicians/ electorates.
If anything they should be decimated by at least 30% but 60% would be better.
Councils should be disbanded as most are made up of corrupt self serving thieves.
This would free up funds for real public service expenditure
Hospitals, police, nurses, etc etc.
