Trumps high IQ triggers a lot of low IQ people.

Infuriated? Do you not know the meaning of the word? We're having an absolute ball watching Trump squirm and melt down over the Epstein stuff. It's so much fun watching him try (and fail miserably) to change the subject away from Epstein to anything he can think of - even going after Obama again! We are all having so much fun enjoying watching Trump having such a bad time that he's run off to Scotland to try to escape it. It won't work, by the way.  Grin Grin Grin

Speaking of his trip to Scotland, I think it's beyond shameful and corrupt that he is using taxpayer funds and US military equipment, personnel and Secret Service personnel for what is a private trip to a privately run golf course owned by him. This trip is reportedly costing US taxpayers about $10 million.

I really hope that when the next Presidential election comes in just over three years and a Democrat wins, they not only remove the security clearances and daily briefings for Trump and every single member of his corrupt administration, they also remove his Secret Service detail permanently. He's rich enough to pay for his own security. I hope they also confiscate the private jet he's being gifted by Qatar - the ultimate in corrupt behaviour.

And, in case some of the usual suspects try to claim that's fake.

Fact Check: Did Scottish newspaper headline about Trump's visit refer to him as 'convicted US felon'?

Quote:
The claim made in the online rumor is true, as The National newspaper did publish a front page with the headline "Convicted US felon to arrive in Scotland" on July 25.

Moreover, the front-page story included the subheading "Republican leader, who was found liable for sexual abuse and defamation, will visit golf courses."

Furthermore, The National's official X account also posted the front page with the caption, "Tomorrow's front page. Convicted US felon to arrive in Scotland."

Quote:
The outlet's X account also posted a video that showed one of the newspaper's journalists, Laura Pollock, holding the print version, and saying, "Supporters of Donald Trump are very angry at our front page this morning but we have a challenge for them. Which part is factually inaccurate?"

Quote:
Interestingly, Trump was convicted on May 30, 2024, by a Manhattan jury on all 34 felony counts of falsifying business records related to hush-money payments to adult film actress Stormy Daniels.

However, he received an "unconditional discharge" sentence on January 10, 2025, but the conviction remains on his record.

Honestly - how did someone like Trump ever become President of the United States of America? And, not once - but twice.

It definitely feels like the Twilight Zone.

Truth be told, after his actions on January 6 and then his criminal conviction to become a felon, I'm surprised he was even permitted to run by the RNC. When he was nominated, I thought for sure he didn't have a chance in Hell of winning, even against Biden (which was a mistake - allowing Biden to run again). I think this is a BIG reason as to why he won - no one who opposes him seriously thought he'd win, and that probably translated to too many people not bothering to vote to ensure he lost.

Steve Bannon is a political strategist and the host of the podcast War Room. He served as an adviser to Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign, and later as chief White House strategist during Trump’s first term.

The following interview was conducted by Mike Wiser for FRONTLINE on April 3, 2025

To its great credit PBS, America's ABC, publishes such long form interviews where they let the subjects speak without the interview constantly playing gotcha or editing and splicing and moronic commentary.

Trump's opponents are also interview in this series, in the same effect format. Well worth checking it out if you want to hear all sides and are prepared to listen and then form your own views. If you know everything already, then don't bother.

Hence why your DL cut the funding.

Come come, you'd hardly expect him to enjoy such long-form interviews. He can't sit through a 20 minute intelligence briefing. Literally everything he hears about the world comes from Fox News, constantly playing gotcha or editing and splicing and moronic commentary.

You know he's killing it, when he has to post on Truth Social:

...

Quote:
I was just informed that our Country’s “Jobs Numbers” are being produced by a Biden Appointee, Dr. Erika McEntarfer, the Commissioner of Labor Statistics, who faked the Jobs Numbers before the Election to try and boost Kamala’s chances of Victory. This is the same Bureau of Labor Statistics that overstated the Jobs Growth in March 2024 by approximately 818,000 and, then again, right before the 2024 Presidential Election, in August and September, by 112,000. These were Records — No one can be that wrong? We need accurate Jobs Numbers. I have directed my Team to fire this Biden Political Appointee, IMMEDIATELY. She will be replaced with someone much more competent and qualified. Important numbers like this must be fair and accurate, they can’t be manipulated for political purposes. McEntarfer said there were only 73,000 Jobs added (a shock!) but, more importantly, that a major mistake was made by them, 258,000 Jobs downward, in the prior two months. Similar things happened in the first part of the year, always to the negative. The Economy is BOOMING under “TRUMP” despite a Fed that also plays games, this time with Interest Rates, where they lowered them twice, and substantially, just before the Presidential Election, I assume in the hopes of getting “Kamala” elected – How did that work out? Jerome “Too Late” Powell should also be put “out to pasture.” Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Link

...

Quote:
In my opinion, today’s Jobs Numbers were RIGGED in order to make the Republicans, and ME, look bad — Just like when they had three great days around the 2024 Presidential Election, and then, those numbers were “taken away” on November 15, 2024, right after the Election, when the Jobs Numbers were massively revised DOWNWARD, making a correction of over 818,000 Jobs — A TOTAL SCAM. Jerome “Too Late” Powell is no better! But, the good news is, our Country is doing GREAT!

Link

Totally killing it.  Just like there are no Epstein files.

The job numbers are fake, the interest rates not dropping is a scam against him.

Like I've said before, his actions are actively sabotaging the US economy, he's driving up the cost of living, making everyday life materially worse for ordinary people. So the traditional indicators of prosperity, employment, wages, inflation, growth, will be quietly discarded. He'll cherry-pick whatever obscure metric still looks vaguely positive and hold it up as proof he's doing a great job.

But even that's wearing thin. The lies are harder to sell when the pain is so immediate, so personal.

How long before he's just pointing to crypto prices like a desperate grifter, pretending the entire economy is thriving because Bitcoin's up 2%?

This is what panic looks like.

Wow, I didn't realise he'd fired her for it, over the numbers being rigged and fake...

They weren't but they will be going forward, he'll see to that.

Quote:
Trump fires a senior official over jobs numbers

President Donald Trump has fired Dr. Erika McEntarfer, the commissioner of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, whom he accused, without evidence, of manipulating the monthly jobs reports for “political purposes.”

The BLS’ monthly labor report Friday showed that the US economy added only 73,000 jobs in July, far below expectations. It also sharply revised down the employment growth that had been previously reported in May and June – by a combined 258,000 jobs.

After the revisions, the jobs report showed the weakest pace of hiring for any three-month period since the pandemic recession in 2020.

“In my opinion, today’s Jobs Numbers were RIGGED in order to make the Republicans, and ME, look bad,” Trump said in a Truth Social post.

Although the May and June jobs numbers were worse than initially believed, revisions are normal in this process. The BLS’ initial monthly jobs estimates are often based on incomplete data, so they are revised twice after the initial report — followed by an annual revision every February. Additionally, BLS economists use a formula to smooth out jobs numbers for seasonal variations and that can exacerbate revisions when they fall outside economists’ expectations.

Trump on Friday incorrectly called the revisions a “mistake.”

“McEntarfer said there were only 73,000 Jobs added (a shock!) but, more importantly, that a major mistake was made by them, 258,000 Jobs downward, in the prior two months,” Trump said on Truth Social. “Similar things happened in the first part of the year, always to the negative. The Economy is BOOMING under ‘TRUMP.’”

This is some real Dear Leader poo wow...

The next question is, how stupid is MAGA?  Will they gobble this up like everything else?

Wow... Just wow...

COVID numbers bad?  Stop counting!  Job numbers bad?  Stop counting!  I'm losing to Joe Biden from mail ins?  Stop counting! Women dying in childbirth? Stop counting! Hurricanes? Stop counting!

When people asked how Trump bankrupted a casino, this is how.

Trump is not so much killing it as resurrecting it... being inhabited by the ghosts of Wallace, Nixon, Carter and Reagan, he is attempting to recreate the era of his youth - the tumultuous social, cultural and economic milieu of  1960s to 1980s America.

Trump orders nuclear submarines moved after Russian 'provocative statements'

By Phil Stewart, Jonathan Landay and Ryan Patrick Jones

WASHINGTON, Aug 1 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday said he had ordered two nuclear submarines to be positioned in "the appropriate regions" in response to remarks from former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev about the risk of war between the nuclear-armed adversaries.
Security analysts called Trump's move a rhetorical escalation with Moscow, but not necessarily a military one, given that the United States already has nuclear-powered submarines that are deployed and capable of striking Russia.

Medvedev on Thursday said Trump should remember that Moscow possessed Soviet-era nuclear strike capabilities of last resort, after Trump had told Medvedev to "watch his words."
"Based on the highly provocative statements of the Former President of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev ... I have ordered two Nuclear Submarines to be positioned in the appropriate regions, just in case these foolish and inflammatory statements are more than just that," Trump said in Friday's social media post.
He added: "Words are very important, and can often lead to unintended consequences, I hope this will not be one of those instances."
Asked later by reporters why he ordered the submarine movement, Trump said: "A threat was made by a former president of Russia, and we're going to protect our people."

Trump didn't create the preconditions for a major war... Russia-Ukraine was brewing for over 10 years. Russia and Western Europe since 2000. Iran-Israel since 1979, Israel-Palestine since 1948. China-Taiwan since 1950. India-Pakistan since 1947. China's claims in the South China Sea since the early 2010s...

He'd have gone into Iran boots and all (literally) if that were true.

he is killing the economy and trumps tariffs have not started to flow through yet.
he just applied further tariffs as no one gave in to him.
At this stage many US corporations are paying the new tax, they have said that is a temporary relief.

Quote:
............ A key inflation measure tracked by the US Federal Reserve increased at a rapid pace in June, while consumer spending showed minimal growth...........
.......... Real disposable income remained flat, mirroring a decline in May, while wages and salaries experienced only marginal growth. .........
......... The jobs report for July is expected to reflect a continued moderation in hiring activity and a slight increase in the unemployment rate, further complicating the economic outlook. ...........

Hard to say, Greggery. They've stopped giving him security briefings - so hard to find the time.

Look, Mr Trump thought it wise to give into the Russians, that's all. "I do that on the basis of safety for our people. A threat was made by a former president of Russia. And we're going to protect our people."

What would you expect a prez to do? Tell a former Russian president to knock it off?

Vlad has nothing to do with this, clearly. This was a statement by a rogue former president. Mr Trump just thought it wise to obey, as you do. This is high stakes four dimensional chess, after all. Art of the deal, innit.

Only he.
