John Mayall, blues legend who fostered the careers of Eric Clapton and members of Fleetwood Mac, dies at 90

Legendary British blues musician John Mayall has died at the age of 90 at his home in California.

Mayall's band the Bluesbreakers was a key training ground for legendary artists like Eric Clapton and Mick Fleetwood.

He was selected for the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame class and his 1966 album Blues Breakers With Eric Clapton, is considered one of the best British blues albums.
