Here's a nice read about it:

https://parlinfo.aph.gov.au/parlInfo/search/display/display.w3p;query=Id%3A%22le...

THE SENATE

DIGITAL ID (TRANSITIONAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL PROVISIONS) BILL 2023

OUTLINE

1.              The Digital ID (Transitional and Consequential Provisions) Bill 2023 ( Bill ) will deal with matters arising from the enactment of the Digital ID Bill 2023 ( principal Bill ) as the Digital ID Act 2023 ( principal Act ). The principal Bill will:

a.        Legislate and strengthen a voluntary Accreditation Scheme for digital ID service providers that wish to demonstrate compliance with best practice privacy, security, proofing and authentication standards.

b.       Legislate and enable the expansion of an Australian Government Digital ID System ( AGDIS ) for use by the Commonwealth, state and territory governments and eventually, the private sector. The use of AGDIS and participation of accredited service providers will be phased.

c.        Embed strong privacy and consumer safeguards, in addition to the Privacy Act 1988 to ensure people are protected.

d.       Establish governance arrangements including the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission as the Digital ID Regulator and an expanded role for the Information Commissioner as Privacy Regulator.

FINANCIAL IMPACT

4.       The analysis in the regulatory impact statement number 1801 for the principal Bill applies to the compliance measures in this Bill.
The regulatory costs of this option are estimated to be $1.5 billion per year,

however these are offset by benefits across the whole of economy, estimated to be up to $3.3 billion per annum.

What I don't understand is where does the Govt get their ideas from for all their legislation?

I mean - who asked for a Digital ID?
was it a member of the public? -
was it big business? -
was it just a brain fart from some public servant? -
was it the United Nations?

The same could be said for mass immigration - whose idea was that?

If we knew who asked for it maybe we'd understand the motives behind it?

The market. It's much easier than carrying around a birth certificate,  driver's licence and passport.

Is this going to be anything like the "protection" our governments told us would be given to the elderly and other vulnerable people when our borders opened and they let Covid rip?

They lied... and I'm pretty sure they're also lying with this.

Digital ID is nothing more than the government gaining ever more control of your lives. It is giving itself more capacity to know everything about you, control your life, harvest you, and shut you down in various ways when it deems fit- all at its fingertips.

It's nothing less than fascism. It reminds me of movies like X-115, Brazil, 1984, Total Recall.

"We're here to help you".......Don't believe it.

Ja, ja digital Id, please!

it's explained here:

Short informative documentary into how CBDC will turn us into slaves.

Digital ID + CBDC + Social Credit System = Digital Slavery.

Just look at China now.

You just have to laugh when our politicians and media carry on about the Chinese social credit system and beat their chests and say thank God we're a democracy. Err, no, governments in the "free world" are doing exactly the same thing- mass surveillance, the stamping out of free thought, free speech and criticism. Our so-called "democracy" is  China with the thinnest disguise.

But who's to blame? You, me and every other clown who lets this pass.

Huge Digital ID and cashless update, Easter blitz and more testimonials.

On tonight’s video we addressed the Digital ID Act that was fast-tracked through Parliament this week
and what people can do about it.
We also discussed how this relates to the cashless push which could actually become a reality as early as next week!
We also mentioned the Easter blitz that is occurring in most States around the country and how people can protect themselves against the blatant revenue raising.
We reminded everyone about the KYR, ASF and BSR 25% off Easter promotions that the 3 groups are currently running this weekend as well.
And, finally, we finished off by going through the latest testimonials and some more great memes, to really get people thinking about what is going on at the moment.
As always, we covered some very powerful and very timely information so please be sure to share this around as far and as wide as possible.

Armaguard is going bankrupt -
we could lose cash as soon as next week.

Armaguard rejects $26 million lifeline to avoid insolvency as Coles ends pause on cash deliveries
By business reporters Kate Ainsworth and Nassim Khadem
Posted Thu 28 Mar 2024

In short: Armaguard has rejected a lifeline deal worth $26 million to prevent it from becoming insolvent.
It comes after Coles temporarily paused its use of the company over the Easter long weekend, but has since resumed using its services.
What's next? The cash transportation company says it is working with its customers and is "confident" about its long-term sustainability.

Armaguard has rejected a $26 million lifeline offered by some of Australia's biggest companies to keep the cash transport company afloat.

The company, which is controlled by trucking magnate Lindsay Fox, had been given until the end of the day to either accept or reject a financial lifeline to avert insolvency, and to keep cash flowing to major businesses.

Major banks, supermarkets, Australia Post and retailer Wesfarmers proposed the $26 million rescue package last week to prevent Armaguard's possible collapse.

But the monopoly cash transporter refused to open its books — one of the conditions of the proposed package — and rejected the lifeline deal on Thursday, confirming it would instead work on its own financial solution.

"Armaguard confirms it is working constructively with all its customers, including its retail customers, banks and other key stakeholders regarding both short-term and long-term financial solutions for the industry to remain sustainable," Mick Cronin, Armaguard Group's chief executive said in a statement.

"Armaguard continues to operate its full suite of services and is confident that over the coming months, it will get the business onto a long-term sustainable footing with appropriate support from the industry."

They want to control where you buy stuff -
how far from home and what you buy and when you buy it
so they can control you in the next lockdowns.

Even the banks have stopped having money over the counters
you have to use an ATM -
but there won't be any cash with Armaguard down -
so no ATMs - no cash - we're already digital by stealth.

Lol, the banks keep reducing the maximum amount you can withdraw from an ATM at time.

They're slowly turning the tap off- on your own money.

The banks work for and spy for the government.

We live in a pretend democracy.

We sure do.
Govts. go to elections without a list of all the contentious legislation they want to pass.
When the debate gets too hot in parliament they shut it down and ram the legislation through.
In the case of digital ID  - Labor and Libbos agreed behind closed doors to pass it
even though they know their employers - the people - don't want it.
I call them traitors and I would say that to any of their faces if I ever met one -
and I'd tell them why.

We live in an autocratic one party state with 2 branches: Labor and Liberal.
The voting preference system keeps either one of them in power
so they are not about to change that either.
It's a job for the boys in their club - and you ain't in it.
