SOME LIKE IT HOT! 2023 turned out to be the hottest year on record. Since May, 2023 outpaced every previous year by a wide margin. As the modern temperature record starts in 1850, the end of the Little Ice Age, it is safe to assume that 2023 was the hottest year since about 1350!
