English author Matt Cain says the Catholic church
made his young queer life hell. Now they accept and
damn his union in one breath.
He goes on to say "Well, you can stick your blessing,
Pope Francis. It’s a fig leaf, a PR exercise, a means of
laundering your prejudice to make it seem like a step
towards acceptance".
It's difficult to not agree with Cain.
So Pope Francis has deigned to ‘bless’ gay
couples? That’s not a blessing, it’s an insult.
That this feeble-minded old celibate dares to comment
on other peoples' sexuality and/or gender disgusts me.
How condescending can the Catholic church be? This is
an organisation filled with—literally—thousands of paedophiles,
both exposed
and hidden, by people just like the hypocritical
Pope Francis.
Hopefully this obnoxious old man will soon be departing this
mortal coil, and I'll be able, at least figuratively, to spit on
his grave.
