As with everything in the Middle East it’s complicated and all related to history.

I happily admit I have very limited knowledge on the subject.

My understanding is that after the 6 day war Jordan accepted a huge amount of Palestinian refugees and actually assisted with rearming the PLO and and supported raids into Israel by the PLO.

In return the Palestinians attempted to overthrow the king of Jordan and take control of the country.

This didn’t succeed and eventually the Palestinian people were driven out of jordan.

While I believe it’s correct no Arab country wants to solve Israel problem with Palestinians I also believe they are very weary of Palestinians entering en mass for fear of being overthrown by them.

I’m no expert and happy to read others opinions on the issue.

Last year the US gave them Patriot missile defence.

When the Islamic state burned the Jordanian F16 pilot alive the King responded by executing all Islamic state prisoners.

There is a fair amount of butthurt at present due to the fact Jordan shot down attack from Iran many muslims are saying the King has to go for taking sides with Israel.

Gaza had over 50% unemployment they were obese from living on foreign aid thanks to Labor we have just imported a shitload of freeloaders.
