Cheesy pop/rock, but this band was fantastic live.

I saw them play live many, many times in Perth pubs (plus a few in the eastern states).

That is so dreadful I wouldn't even call it a song.

Surely a musician like you would have more taste in music?

It wasn't the music - it was their live shows.

They were a great '80s pub band.

Then you probably never saw:
Cold Chisel, Midnight Oil, the Divinyls, Daryl Braithwaite, Dragon or
Hunters & Collectors with Mark Seymour.

Saw them all.

I said Uncanny X-Men were a great pub band - not the best pub band.

Not sure I could name my favourite pub band from back then.

There were so many.

The Saints.  The Radiators.  Painters and Dockers.

Paul Kelly.  Stevie Wright (completely off his face on heroin, but a fantastic live show).

The Angels.   The Black Sorrows.  Diesel (Perth boy).  The Sunnyboys.

Spiderbait.  The Party Boys.

Oh, maybe I can name my favourite.

Not really Australian (they were Kiwis), but they played in Aussie pubs all the time - Mi-Sex.

All ? - wow - you're a hero.

I saw only a few of them live.
I used to live in South Yarra in the 1980s -
good bands like that were often only walking distance from my place then.
Daryl Braithwaite was really talented - I loved his show.
I saw Midnight Oil before they became famous.

The Perth live music scene was crazy in the '80s.

There were touring bands from all over Australia and New Zealand playing in pubs almost every night.

I just remembered another great pub band from back then.

The songs weren't great, but they put on a fantastic live show.

Another great live pub band from back then.

I worked with these guys for a while.

Jon was a genuinely nice guy.

Shouldn't you be listening to Church music and songs Bobby?
Not this so-called devil music.
Do you wear a white shirt and tie Bobby?
Peccary wears drag black leather and makeup.

Oh my goodness!
He’s very operatic and hubby was asking if it was male or female, I said maybe non gender…. That’s a thing these days.
Anyway he won and I loved it.
And the props and special effects were so good!
