Back in the 1970s many guys had a crush on Deborah Harry.

Indeed.

I know of at least one teenage boy at the time who used to wait anxiously on Sunday evenings - box of tissues in hand - to see if this clip would be played on Countdown:

I predict Pink Floyd's LIVE IN POMPEII (playing to the ghosts of time) will become #1 selling album in the UK soon.

Arguably the Greatest modern Band ever - still!
Only Led Zep comes close to them and there's a big gap to the rest of the pack. Only Nirvana changed the sound of music in a big way to earn third place leading the pack.
Since then, nothing has perfected Music like the Floyd has and in such a big way as Floyd has across the globe.

Although Gilmour worked as a male model when young for some well paid pocket money needed on the side. Pink Floyd never pushed their looks to get attention for their music. They relied solely on their music above all else.
Jimmy Page also pushed this philosophy for Led Zep, but Plant also pushed his looks.
I can't think of another band that pushed their music as the only selling aspect, more than Floyd?
Member egos, looks, stage performance gimmicks and body movements, etc all seem to detract from the Music they try to sell.
With Floyd, it really was about the Music. Even the aspect of a lead singer being a gimmick didn't work as Roger Waters continued as like a satellite projection of Pink Floyd as a whole.
In fact, the Band 'planet' and Waters 'moon' seemed to create an ongoing symbiosis into the future rather than destroying either for a one sided affair. When bands breakup for individual pursuits, either one succeeds with the other failing. Never both continuing success and in equal measure, moving forward beyond falling back on past success to keep them floating.
Both kept at it as if one, but just detached from one another in their music. That's powerful and no band has done better there either.

Apparently the 2nd verse was about Warren Beatty - the movie star.

You walked into the party like you were walking onto a yacht
Your hat strategically dipped below one eye
Your scarf it was apricot
You had one eye in the mirror, as you watched yourself gavotte
And all the girls dreamed that they'd be your partner
They'd be your partner and

You're so vain
You probably think this song is about you
You're so vain (you're so vain)
I bet you think this song is about you
Don't you, don't you?

You had me several years ago when I was still quite naive
Well you said that we made such a pretty pair and that you would never leave
But you gave away the things you loved
And one of them was me
I had some dreams they were clouds in my coffee, clouds in my coffee and
You're so vain

Well I hear you went up to Saratoga
And your horse naturally won
Then you flew your lear jet up to Nova Scotia
To see the total eclipse of the sun
Well you're where you should be all the time
And when you're not, you're with some underworld spy
Or the wife of a close friend, wife of a close friend and  ......

Cheesy pop/rock, but this band was fantastic live.

I saw them play live many, many times in Perth pubs (plus a few in the eastern states).
