No, I’ve lived in a number of Muslim households and husband and wives talking things over and reaching consensus was not unknown; however in this case I’d believe that she had no say.

That's interesting - and very unusual.  You've lived in a number of muslim households?  Is that Arab or Asian muslims?

I worked for business muslims for 8 years.  You could say I was on a steep learning curve ... 

And I can tell you this, I didn't learn anything good about them.  Most corrupt business I ever worked in.  Probably the only corrupt one.

I don't understand why it is a crime to enter a combat area where Australia is not directly involved when the alleged perpetrator is a non-combatant.

It looks like a bogus law that couldn't be enforced.

If such a law could be enforced it would imply media personalities, priests, teachers, first responders, and medical personnel could not enter such proscribed areas.

Australia is compelled to pass laws that violate human rights.

Islam's outlook, value system and aims are totally different to the values, outlook and directions of modern Western secular countries.  Islam is fundamentally incompatible with and opposed to almost every aspect of Western culture. This is not surprising since Islam is where it has always been: a pre-modern outlook and ideology than has not gone through the transformative experiences of Western thought and values in the last 500 years, from Renaissance, Reformation,  Deism, Scepticism, Scientific and idustrial revolution, secularization, liberal democracy, freedoms of speech, conscience, though, enquiry, religion, etc.

Anyone who says that Islam is compatible with Western values and outlook is either totally ignorant or is a bareface liar, most likely both.

Quite possible.

Muhammed Zahab taught mathematics at Al Noori Islamic school in Greenacre.  He had a Masters degree in education so you'd think he would be a responsible person.  But he was just being a good muslim doing what the prophet told him to do.  So it's rather concerning that these radical teachers are educating kids who will possibly end up joining these terrorist groups in the future.

Actually there was a crime ... she was forbidden by law to assist anyone considered to be a terrorist, or terrorist organization, ISIS was/is considered as such

However, the Judge must have considered that that law didn't apply to her, therefore she received no conviction, after she traveled all the way to Syria to be with her terrorist husband who was a member of a terrorist organization
